HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1195 ORDINANCE NO. 1195 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION XXVIII, AMENDMENTS, OF ZONING ORDINANCE #1080 OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, JANUARY 9, 1984 AFTER APPROPRIATE NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: RESOLVED that on Case No. PZ-85-19 the following described property shall be rezoned from AG to R-2. BEING a 33.3465 acre tract of land in the Thomas Peck Survey, Abstract 1210, situated in the City of North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas and being a portion of that certain tract of land as described in deed to William Doyle Sheets et ux as recorded in Volume 4596, Page 366 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a steel fence post at the Northeast corner of said Sheets tract and being by deed call 2,013.90 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Peck Survey; THENCE South along the East line of said Sheets tract and being the West line of Brentwood Estates, an addition to the City of North Rich1and Hills, 1,360.81 feet to a ~ inch iron pin set; THENCE South 89 degrees 09 minutes 36 seconds West, 307.32 feet to a ~ inch iron pin found at a fence corner; THENCE South 00 degrees 00 minutes 42 seconds West, 850.10 feet to a ~ inch iron pin found in the North R.O.W. line of Shady Grove Road (County Road No. 3001, 40 foot R.O.W.); THENCE South 89 degrees 11 minutes 17 seconds West along said North R.O.W. line 461.55 feet to a 1 inch iron pin found at the Southwest corner of said Sheets tract and being the Southeast corner of that certain tract of land as described in deed to C.E. LeMaster as recorded in Volume 2529, Page 137, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE North 00 degrees 08 minutes 23 seconds West along the West line of said Sheets tract 1,475.49 feet to a ~ inch iron pin found; Page 2 THENCE North 00 degrees 52 minutes 17 seconds West, 50.35 feet to a ~ inch pin found at the Southeast corner of that certain tract of land as described in deed to McMaster Builders, Inc. as recorded in Volume 7239, Page 1991, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE North 01 degrees 30 minutes 56 seconds West along the East line of said McMasters Builders, Inc. tract 689.22 feet to a concrete monument with iron pin found at the Northwest corner of said Sheets tract from which an iron pin found at the Northeast corner of said McMasters Builders, Inc. tract bears North 00 degrees 15 minutes 25 seconds West, 14.80 feet; THENCE North 89 degrees 28 minutes 56 seconds East along the North line of said Sheets tract 791.59 feet to the point of beginning and containing 1,452,574 square feet or 33.3465 acres of land.
