Election of Chair and Vice Chair Brian Crowson: Do I have a nomination for a Chairman? Tom Moreau: I'd like to nominate Brian Crowson. Brian Crowson: Do I have a second? John Larriviere: I'll second. Brian Crowson: All those in favor say aye. Let the record show a unanimous aye. Do I have a nomination for the Vice Chair position? John Larriviere: I'd like to nominate Lynn Motheral. Brian Crowson: Do I have a second? Bob McCary: I'll second. Brian Crowson: All those in favor say aye. Let the record show a unanimous aye. 4. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Brian Crowson: The first order of business is the consideration of the minutes from our last meeting. Are there any questions or comments about the minutes? If not, do I hear a motion? Bob McCary: I make a motion that we accept the minutes. Tom Moreau: I second the motion. Brian Crowson: I have a motion and a second to accept the minutes of our last meeting. All those in favor say aye. Let the record show that it was a unanimous aye. 5. SSB2013-42 PUBLIC HEARING FOR BLOCK K LOT 12 RICHLAND OAKS SUBDIVISION ADDITION KNOWN AS 4900 WYOMING TRAIL Brian Crowson: Our first hearing today is SSB2013-42 Block K Lot 12, Richland Oaks Subdivision known as 4900 Wyoming Trail. Debbie Heizer: Presented a power point presentation for SSB2013-42. Brian Crowson: Is there anyone who wishes to speak on behalf of this Property? Barbara Davis: 4900 Wyoming Trail. She spoke briefly about the events that led up to the fire and the process she has been going through. She informed the board that the house has a contract pending on it. So she will no longer be responsible for the property. Brian Crowson: I now close this public hearing and open it to the board. Do I hear a motion? Lynn Motheral: I make a motion that the Board determines that the structures on this property are substandard and hereby order that: (1) Barbara Davis, owner of the property located at 4900 Wyoming Trl. in North Richland Hills, Texas, Block K Lot 12 Richland Oaks Subdivision North Richland Hills, Tarrant County Texas shall within (45) days obtain a building permit to repair the structure or obtain a permit from the Building Official to demolish the structure to foundation. (2) Should permits be obtained to repair structure, repairs must be made within one hundred twenty (120) days. (3) Should permit be obtained to demolish structure, structure must be demolished within thirty (30) days. (4) If the repairs are not made or if a permit is not obtained and work is not completed in the time referenced in the preceding paragraph, the City of North Richland Hills shall demolish the structure to foundation and charge all expenses incurred by the city to the owner and place a lien upon the property for the amount owed. The costs, together with interest accruing at 10% per annum will be assessed as a charge against the land and will be a personal obligation of the owner. Bob McCary: I'll second the motion.
