CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m.

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Brian Crowson: The first order of business is the consideration of the minutes
from our last meeting. Are there any questions or comments about the minutes?
If not, do I hear a motion'?
Bob McCary: I make a motion that we accept the minutes
Philip Orr: I second the motion.
Brian Crowson: I have a motion and a second to accept the minutes of our last
meeting. All those in favor say aye. Let the record show that it was a unanimous
aye.

SSB2014-43
PUBLIC HEARING FOR BLOCK 33 LOT 1 NOR'EAST ADDITION
ADDITION KNOWN AS 5425 DAVIS BLVD.
Brian Crowson: Our first hearing today is SSB2014-43 Block 33 Lot 1, Nor'East
Addition known as 5425 Davis Blvd.
Debbie Heizer: Presented a power point presentation for SSB2014-43.
Brian Crowson: Is there anyone who wishes to speak on behalf of this
Property?
Jerry Moody: 7052 Crosstimbers-NRH TX 76180. He spoke briefly about the
process he has been going through trying to bring the building up to code. He
stated that he has plans to repair the building.
Brian Crowson: Is there anyone else who wishes to speak on behalf of this
Property?
Dani Dong: 5123 Hamden Bend Circle, Grapevine TX 76051. She spoke briefly
about possibly being interested in purchasing the property.
Brian Crowson: I now close this public hearing and open it to the board. Do I
hear a motion?
Thomas Moreau: I make a motion that the Board determines that the structures
on this property are substandard and hereby order that:
(1) Jerry Moody, owner of the property located at 5425 Davis Blvd in
North Richland Hills, Texas, Block 33 Lot 1 Nor'East Addition
North Richland Hills, Tarrant County Texas shall within thirty
(30) days obtain a building permit to repair the structure or obtain a permit
from the Building Official to demolish the structure to foundation.
(2) Asbestos testing must be completed prior to any repairs or demolition.
(3) Should permits be obtained to repair structure, repairs must be made
within Ninety (90) days.
(4) Should permit be obtained to demolish structure, structure must be
demolished within thirty (30) days.
(5) If the repairs are not made or if a permit is not obtained and work is not
completed in the time referenced in the preceding paragraph, the City of
North Richland Hills shall demolish the structure to foundation and charge
all expenses incurred by the city to the owner and place a lien upon the
property for the amount owed. The costs, together with interest accruing
at 10% per annum will be assessed as a charge against the land and will
be a personal obligation of the owner.
(6) The lien holder of the property shall have the above listed time frame to
comply should property owner fail to do so.
Philip Orr: I'll second the motion.
Brian Crowson: All those in favor? Let the record show it was a unanimous aye
