City ofXrth Richland Hills, Texas
DATE: February 4, 1982
MEMO TO: Dennis Horvath, Acting City Manager
FROM: Allen Bronstad, Director of Development
SUBJECT: Drainage Right-of-Way
I acquired permant right-of-way, temporary construction and drainage
easement from Viola Hunter on 15th of October 1981 .
I talked to Mr. David A. Aleksandrowicz January 22, regarding sewer
casement. He asked me what the survey stakes were doing on his
property. Mr Aleksandrowicz told me he purchased the property
from Viola Hunter on October 31, 1980. The triangular tract of
land that we need from Mr. Aleksandrowicz is 0.08 of an acre.
We need this property from Mr. Aleksandrowicz for the drainage. I
ask him to give me an amount lie wanted for this property. lie stated
he wanted the City to make him an offer.
The Tax Department shows an assessed value of $5,000.00 per acre or
0.08 of an acre value of $400.00.
I don't think we can purchase this property for $400.00, although
the property is in the flood plain.
