ORDINANCE NO. 951
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 722 OF THE CITY
OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS,ESTABLISHING A PRIMA
FACIE SPEED LIMIT OF 20 MILES PER HOUR IN THE 4600
AND 4700 BLOCKS OF HOLIDAY LANE EAST; PROVIDING FOR
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION .OF A FINE NOT IN EXCESS OF
$200.00; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, has caused
an engineering and traffic investigation to be made to determine a proper
prima facie speed limit for the 4600 and 4700 blocks of Holiday Lane
East; and
WHEREAS, such investigation shows that the prima facie
speed limit should be 20 miles per hour.
Now therefore be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of North Richland Hills, that:

Ordinance No. 722 of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas,
be and is hereby amended by adding the 4600 and 4700' blocks of Holiday
Lane East to Section 3.04 of said Ordinance and establishing a 20 mile
per hour speed limit in the 4600 and 4700 blocks of Holiday Lane East
from Riveria Drive to Blaney Street.

Any person operating a motor vehicle upon said above described
section of Holiday Lane East, in the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, at
a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and fined not in excess of $200.00.
3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect 10 days
from passage and publication.
