HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2017-041 RESOLUTION NO. 2017-041 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION ON THE LAND USE ASSUMPTIONS, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLANS FOR WATER AND WASTEWATER, AND IMPACT FEE STRUCTURE. RECITALS WHEREAS, Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code provides a procedure enabling municipalities to enact and update impact fees; and WHEREAS, on March 8, 2010 the City Council adopted Ordinance 3090 updating its previously adopted impact fees as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council has on this date received updated land use assumptions and a capital improvements plan developed by qualified professionals using generally accepted engineering and planning practices in accordance with Section 395.014 of the Texas Local Government Code; and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt an order as contemplated by Section 395.053 of the Texas Local Government Code to set a public hearing to discuss and review such updated land use assumptions and capital improvements plan and determine whether to amend the plan; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Incorporation of Recitals. All of the above recitals are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety. SECTION 2. Order setting public hearing. The City Council hereby sets and ORDERS that a public hearing be held during the regular city council meeting of December 11, 2017 to discuss and review the updated land use assumptions, capital improvements plan and the amounts of impact fees and to determine whether to adopt such assumptions, plan and revised impact fees. AND IT IS SO RESOLVED. PASSED AND APPROVED on this the 23rd day of October, 2017.
