DISCUSSION
Council was advised there had been several
complaints from citizens pertaining to political
signs. There was considerable discussion on
where the signs could be placed. Consensus of
the Council was to not change the present
ordinance. Council also felt the seven day pick
up after election should be enforced. Council
was advised that the Planning and Zoning
Commission was going to discuss the ordinance
at their next meeting.
Council was given a report on the C.E.R.T.
meeting. Consensus was to continue with the
C.E.R.T. meetings. Mayor Pro Tern Davis was
asked to remain on the committee as a citizen
representative for North Richland Hills.

NOISE Staff explained the program and the need for STAFF - NOTE
ABATEMENT the equipment. Staff was asked to include the

FIRE purchased. It was suggested that hearing

where the noise level was high.

Council was advised the Fire Department was
handling the parking situation. It was suggested CHIEF McGLASSON
that a Police Officer be assigned to assist with Note
traffic control, pedestrian protection, etc.
Council asked for a report on the financing of C.A.
the NETS program. Please handle
Staff was asked to keep the Council informed GREG
on the drainage problem in Stoneybrook Please follow up
Addition. Staff advised that the problem had
not been corrected and Council would be given
a report in early May.
Council was reminded of the pre-budget NAN
session, April 23rd and 24th at 6:00 p.m. and
the Town Hall meeting May 2nd at 7:30 p.m.
Council asked the status of the sewer line in NAN
Snow Heights Addition in the area of Corona
and Reynolds.

REPORT FROM PARK AND RECREATION
BOARD - DON TIPPS, CHAIRMAN
Mr. Don Tipps, Park and Recreation Board Chairman, presented a brief presentation on
the accomplishments of the Park and Recreation Department during the past year.
Ms. Janice Davis, Chairman of the Beautification Commission, appeared before the
Council.
Ms. Davis advised that the Beautification Commission had planted and dedicated the
first "Tree of Remembrance" in honor of Councilwoman Spurlock.

PRESENTATION OF PROJECT PRIDE AWARD BY
NORTHEAST TARRANT COUNTY CHAMBER TO JANE DUNKELBERG
Ms. Kathy Robinson, Chairman of Project Pride, presented the Project Pride Award to
Jane Dunkelberg.

PRESENTATION OF PROCLAMATION -
'WATER UTILITIES AWARENESS WEEK"
Mayor Pro Tern Davis presented Greg Dickens, Public Works Director, a proclamation
recognizing "Water Utilities Awareness Week".

CITIZENS PRESENTATION
Mr. Cliff Stevens, 9201 Kirk Lane, appeared before the Council.
Mr. Stevens thanked Mr. Line and Mr. Dickens for their concern on the drainage
problem with Little Bear Creek. Mr. Stevens advised he appreciated their concern.

Councilman Garvin moved, seconded by Councilwoman Spurlock, to adjourn the
meeting.
