MINUTES OF THE EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS, HELD IN THE CITY HALL, 7301
NORTHEAST LOOP 820, AUGUST 25, 1977, 8:00 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Newman called the emergency meeting to
order August 25, 1977,8:00 P.M.

PS 77-41
Approval of Preliminary & Final Plat of
Calloway Farms Addition
Mr. Britton advised the Council the owners
of Sanger Harris had ask that this meeting
be called. The approval of this plat was
required prior to closing on the property.
Mr. Britton advised that Mr. Dave Beurket,
Regional Real Estate Manager and Mr. Harper
of Sanger Harris were present.
Mr. Beurket appeared before the Council. He
stated that the store would face Grapevine
Highway. Mr. Beurket stated that the plat had
been reviewed by the City Engineer and all
requests had been taken care of.
Mayor Newman, on behalf of the Council, advised
Mr. Beurket that they were glad Sanger Harris
had chosen our City to build their new store in,
and that the Council would cooperate fully if
and when help was required.
Councilman Mills ask if Mr. Beurket was aware
of the work that is scheduled for Grapevine
Highway.
Mr. Britton advised that Mr. Beurket was and
was also aware of work to be done on Glenview
Drive.

Mayor Pro Tem Cato ask Mr. Beurkèt if
if he was going to make a press release.
Mr. Beurket stated he was not prepared to
make any statements at this time. Mr.
John Miller, President of Sanger Harris would
make the release.
Councilman Lamond moved, seconded by Mayor
Pro Tem Cato, to approve PS 77-41. Motion
carried 6-0.
Mayor Pro Tem Cato moved, seconded by Councilman
Freeman, to adjourn the meeting of August 25,
1977. Motion carried 6-0.
