Regular City Council Heeting - ,July 10, 1972 Councilman Faram moved, seconded b;y Councilman Smith, that the City Council approve the Ninlltes of the City Council Meeting of July 10, 1972 as presented. The motion carried b;y a vote of 4-0. Councilmen j'icKinney and Newman ab£tainjn¿ due to absence from this meeting. ConEideration of polic;y chance reCardinG payment of volunteer firemen. Councilman Newman moved, seconded by Councilman Ellis, that the City Council table this item to be considered with other budget items in the fire department. Ci t;y' Council stated that the City 12 in SUIPort of chancing the name of Highwa;y 1211\ to Airport Freeway and advised the City 2ecretary to forward a letter to thÜ effect. Johnson 3305 Edith Lane appeared before the Cit;y Council requesting the dedication of 1;'rankie B. f'treet and agreed to being assessed for any improvements that should be made to this property. Cit;y Icíanager Riddle advised that all persons dedicating this street, Developers, are respondble for Sub- Division improvements for streets, curb and e:utter. 3 Councilman Faram moved, seconded b31 Councilwoman Goodnig'1t, that the City Council authorize tc 0ren Frankie B. street subject to any improvements that the normal assessments to this property would apply. ITinton appeared before the City Council 5 advising that there has been a water leak on Roberta Drive for six weeks and asking when this leak could be repaired. City C01mcil advised Hr. Mr. Roger Brooks appeAred before the City COllncil requestine the Cit~ to accept an easement for sewer lines now crossing his property in lieu of the easement now existing.
