judges this year for the category of cities just above us. The winners will be announced in April.

E.3 Discuss Adopt-a-Highway program and clean-ups.
Kristin advised the Commission that it is necessary that we complete all 4 clean-ups in our area this year.
Last year, there was only one due to the pandemic. As of now,Teen Court is not meeting, so they will
not be available until later in the year. So, it was recommended that the members perform at least the
1st one of the year. The date was set for Sunday, May2, 2021 starting at 1:30 pm. The members will try
to recruit friends and family to help.
E.4 Discuss Tarrant Regional Water District's Learn and Grow Menu of Classes for 2021.
As previously discussed, the Commission will sponsor the Rain Barrel Class again, with this year's class
being held online. Following the class, the participants will be able to pick up their rain barrels at a
location to be determined. MiShon volunteered to help with this event. Kristin will get a date arranged
for May and advise the members at the April meeting. Kristin shared the Learn and Grown Menu of
classes online and the members were interested in several. Kristin will talk to the representative further
about availability and ideas on how many to sponsor. Some members felt monthly would be good.
Kristin will email a copy of the class list out so members can review it. It was decided that the Trees for
N.Texas class would be appropriate for an activity for Arbor, giving out trees to participants. Brandon
suggested that we reward participants in the classes to post their results on the KNRHB Facebook page,
possibly with a gift card.
