CALL TO ORDEFl &: ROLL CALL:
Preaent: Mayor Kunter; Councilmen Bell, Edward. and Cam~bell.
Counoil_ea White and Johna absent.
AIMINISTRATIVE STAFF PRESENT: Chief of Police, City Ina_ector, Fire
Chief and City Secretary.
INVOCATION: Councilman Campbell.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Mr. Campbell moved to approve the minutes of the
last regular meeting held August 13, 1962 aa subm~tted. Mr. Bell ae-
conded and motion carried 3-0.
COMMUNICATIONS:
A. Letter of resignation from Mr. Ben Paschal from the City Water
Planning Board vaa read and Mr. Campbell .oTed resignation be accepted.
Mr. Edward. seconded and motion carried 3-0.
B. Letter ot commendatioR to Mr. French was paased to Council members
and was signed by those present.
li.cuasio. on member to Water Planning Board brought on a motioR by
Mr. Bell to contirm Mr. Paul Jlarmon as a member and nominate. Mr.
Jack Smità aa new member to Board. Mr. Cam~bell seconded and motion
carried 3-0. City Secretary instructed to write letter to Mr. Smith
a. to his appointment.
C. Letter from State Highway .epartment in reply to Mayor'a letter
in regard. to trontage roada on Loop 820 wal read.
REPORTS:
Mr. French gave his monthly report on work done by the Street lepart-
ment; als., schedule for coming month and alked tor the feeling ot
Council on thia work. Atter dia.us.i.. it was decided to wait on a
deoision until the C.P.A. gave hi. report.
1. .EALTH OFFICER ORJINANCE - IISCUSSION:
Mr. Goo'night state. he felt this subject warranted more study before
actual ordinance be drawn. After discussion it waa deeided further
study be made and an ordinance or further report be presente4 at the
next regular Council meeting.
