Present: Denny, Nace, Christopher, MacCarthy, Ray, Mr. Watson, Mr. Tripp. Resolution presented by Mayor Denney to designate April 5, 1955 as election day for City of N. R. H. to eleot Mayor, 5 aldermen, City Mar- shall to serve a period of two years. Mr. Christopher moved we adopt reso- lution, seoonded by MaøCarthy, carried 5-0. Copy of resqlution attatched. Resolution passed to have Mr. C'hrlstoþþer prepare a paving ordinance. This'WHS resuft of request or áuggesti(¡tn by Mr. Watson. Mr. Tripp presented a petition by some 60 residents adjacent to 1;t..B.H. requesting to be annexed by City of N.R.H. Mr. Christopher presented ordinance for annexing certain lands adjacent to N.R.H. Designated as Ordinance No.---- I Mr. Ohristopher moved we adopt the ordinance, seoonded by MacCarthy. Passed unanimousley. Mr. Christopher moved we extend a vote of thanks)to Mr. Tripp for his efforts in handling annexation petition. Christopher moved we adjourn. 9:35 P. M. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, was held on the 7th day of Febru- ~-- ary, 1955. The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P. M., with Messrs. Denny, Nace, Christopher, MacCarthy, Ray and Messrs. Watson and Tripp present. A resolution ~as presented by Mayor Denny to designate April 5, 1955, as election day for the City of North Richland Hills, to elect a Mayor, 5 Aldermen and City Marshall to serve for a period of two years. Mr. Christopher moved that we adopt the resolution. Motion seconded by Mr. MacCarthy. Motion carried 5 - O. A resolution was passed to have Mr. Christopher prepare a paving ordinance. This was a result of a suggestion by Mr. Watson. Mr. Tripp presented a petition signed by some sixty resi- dents adjacent to North Richland Hills, requesting to be annex- ed by the City of North Richland Hills. Mr. Christopher presented an ordinance for annexing certain lands adjacent to North Richland Hills, Designated as Ordinance No. Ji-. Mr. Christopher moved that we adopt the ordinance. Motion seconded by Mr. MacCarthy. Motion passed unanimously. Mr. Christopher moved that we extend a vote of thanks to Mr. Tripp for his efforts in handling annexation petition. There being no further business, Mr. Christopher moved that the meeting be adjourned. Meeting adjourned at 9:35 P. M. Secretary APPROVED AS READ:
