REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING----------August 11, 1958
The regular City Counoil meeting was held August 11, 1958
at the North Riohland Hills Civio League Building, Pipe Line
at Morgan Circle and was called to order at 8:05 P. M. with
Mayor McFarland and CounoUmen Graner, Rowe, Kutilek, Fnmk-
lin and Putnam in attendance. There were also a nwnber of
visitors present.
After the minutes of the last regular Council meeting we~e
read and approved, the monthly Treasure's report and audit
Was read.
Mayor McFarland read letter from the State Hwy, Dept. in
answer. to City's request for a survey to be made at the in-
tersection of Hwy. 121 at Rufe Snow Boad stating that such
a survey will be made.
Mr. McFarland reported that a temporary injunction will be
issued Tuesday against developer of Addition East of Rich-
land Oaks. After length\y discussion from interested persons
from that area, it was deoided to advise those parties of
City Attorney's action taken. It WaS suggested all ad-
joining property owners file injunotions also.
Mr. MoFarland read a letter from Mr. Recunna applying for
position of Electrioal Inspector for North Riohland Hills.
Mr. Wellner recormnended advertising for applications to be
submitted for electrical, plumbing and building inspectors
positions providing such Codes are set up.
Mr. Wellner announced Civic League Meeting Thursday night,
August 14 with Mr. Green of the Texas State Hwy. Cormnission
as speaker.
At a speoial meeting held July 15 at the City Office it
was agreed to let Mr. Hackney dr.. a oomplete new City..1J.a.p_ J._ J
showing lots and blocks of all additions. Mr. Hackney~
would take approximately 80 hours 8l1d would cost approxi-
mately $300.00.

Mr. Diok King presen.ted Mr. J. L. Brwnbaugh as new 5th.
member to the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Mr. Frankl in
moved to acoept Mr. Brwnbaugh. Mr. Putnam seoonded motion.
Passed. Mr. King also oomplimented the Counoil for the
street repairs being done and at suoh reasonable prioe.
October was stated as the month to start charging fee of
$25.00 to hold public hearings again.
Mr. Rowe moved to adjourn at 9:35 P. M. :teconde¢l by Mr.
Kutilek. Passed.
