The regular council meeting or the North Richland Hills City Council
was held February 9, 1959 in the Civic League Building, Pipe Line Rd.
at Morgan Circle and was called to order at 7:30 PM. with the Mayor
and councilmen Rowe, Kutilek, Graner, Franklin and Putman present.
After the reading ~nd approval of the minutes of the last regular
meetin~, the minutes of a special council meeting were read and appro-
ved and was then followed by the monthly audit.
Mr. Renfro brought up the subject of differance in grade level on the
intersection of Holiday and Oakland. He suggested that council look
into the matter, in order to find a solution to the problem. After
discuss ion, Mr. Kutilek 'movèd'~tha.tMr. 31åce ')8 r?é}'18sted -Co èheck the
existing situation and report his findings. The motion was seconded by
Mr. Putman and passed.
After discussion, 1~. Putman moved that the zoning commission be given
a letter & 1 "II advising that all annexations by ordance '#38, and on
north are legally and officially parts of the City of North Richland
Hills. The commission to act accordingly. Mr. Graner seconded the motion
which passed.
1~. Jack Hall gave futher explainations of the electrical ordance
previously presented to council. 1~. McFarland appointed a committee
to draw up an electrical ò~~dance. The committee members appointed were
Mr. Rowe, Mr. Kutilek, Mr. Hall and Mr. Recknew.
Mr. Graner moved that the mayor be impowered to hire an electrical
inspector to make inspections complying with the national electrical
code on construction as requested by the builder. Cgarge for inspection
shall be at rates specified in section #8 of ordance ik28 of River Oaks,
Texas. 1~. Rowe seconded the motion. Motion passed.
1,~. Putman moved to adjourn at 9:30 PM. and was seconded by Mr. Rowe.
Motion passed.
