Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 2443 ORDINANCE NO. 2443 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 2, SECTION 200, OF ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER 1874, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JUNE 14, 1999; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City has received a request for a change in zoning district boundaries; and WHEREAS, after appropriate notice and public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, has forwarded a recommendation to the City Council for amendment of Ordinance No. 1874 and the Official Zoning Map by rezoning certain property as set forth herein; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS: 1. THAT, in Case Number PZ 99-43 (Grayton Koenig), the following described tract as shown on Exhibit "A" shall be rezoned: A tract of land, containing a total of 1.933 acres, in the S. Richardson Survey, Abstract No. 1266, Tarrant County, Texas and addressed as 7813 Green Valley Drive, is hereby changed from AG-Agricultural and LR-Local Retail to R-1-S-Special Single Family Residential. 2. THAT, the Official Zoning Map be redrawn to incorporate this zoning district boundary amendment and the herein described ordinance number be affixed to the property described herein. 3. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the section, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections of this Ordinance 2443 Page 1 of 4 ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any such invalid or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section. 4.
