ORDINANCE NO. 394
AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED
AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM-
MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVFJ.rBER 13, 1967,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
"The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by
ordinance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established'
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBHTTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:
ON CASE PZ 72-3 the following described property is hereby recommended to be
approved to be rezoned from "Agriculture" to a proposed classification of
"IF-9 One Family Dwelling" described as follows: FIELD NOTES of a 31.428
acre tract of land out of the Wm. Cox Survey, A-321, North Richland Hills,
Tarrant County, Texas and being part of a 40 acre tract as conveyed to
Clarence E. Pyron as shown in Volume 1932, Page 548, Deed Records, Tarrant
County, Texas and being described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING
at a steel rod in the East line of County Road #3076 (Smithfield-Keller Road)
said rod being North 10 12' East 34.2 feet from the Northwest corner of Lot
1, Block 2, Smithfield Acres, an addition to the Town of Smithfield, Tarrant
County, Texas as recorded in Volume 388-2, Page 132, Deed Records, Tarrant
County, Texas; said rod also being in the South line of said Pyron 40.0 acre
tract; THENCE North 1° 12' East, along the East line of County Road 113076,
132.55 feet to a steel rod for corner; THENCE South 88° 44' East, 194.6 feet
to a steel rod for corner; THENCE North 10 16' East, 339.55 feet to a steel
rod for corner; THENCE North 880 44 minutes West, 194.75 feet to a steel rod
for corner in the East line of County Road #3076; THENCE North 10 12 minutes
East along the East R.O.lv. line of County Road #3076, 293.6 feet to a point;
Thence South 89° 03' East, 370.85 feet; THENCE North 10 23' East, 562.4 feet
to a point in the North line of vIm. Cox Survey; THENCE South 890 03' East ',a-
long said Cox Survey, 872.5 feet to the Northeast corner of said Pyron 40.0
acre tract; THENCE South 10 23' lvest, along the East line of said Pyron 40.0
acre tract and a f~nce, 1320.6 feet to a steel rod for corner; said rod being
the Southeast corner of said Pyron 40.0 acre tract; THENCE North 890 24' West
along a fence and the South line of said Pyron 40.0 acre tract, 1241.0 feet
to the place of beginning and containing 31.428 acres of land, more or less.
This property is joined by Smithfield Acres on the South, and Smithfield Road
fronts this property on the West.
APPROVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COB1USSWN THIS 24th DAY OF FEBRUARY. 1972

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS ACTING
IN REGULAR SESSION THAT THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY IN CASE NO. PZ 72-3 IS
HEREBY REZONED IF-9 ONE FAMILY DWELLING THIS 13TH DAY OF MARCH, 1972, WITH
THE EMERGENCY CLAUSE ADDED.
