HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 0396 ORDINANCE NO. 396 AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXL'{ CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI- NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM- l1ISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967 Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows: "The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordinance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established" Na.¡, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBHITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HII..¡,S BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING CG:1MISSION: ON CASE PZ 72-5 the following described property is hereby recommended to be approved to be rezoned from " Agriculture" to a proposed classification of "IF-9 One Family Dwelling" described as follows: Being a tract of land situated in the W.D. Barnes and Alex Hood Surveys, City of North Rich1and Hills, Texas, said tract being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the center line of Starnes Road, and the center line of Smith- field-Keller Road; THENCE West along the centerline of Starnes Road a distance of 1552.45 feet to a point for a corner; THÈNCE North 00 49' East a distance of 665.00 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE West a distance of 1115.00 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE North 00 49' East a distance of 660.38 feet to a point for a corner; TIŒNCE North 00 16' East a distance of 1686.58 feet to a point for a corner, said point being the Southwest corner of the Oakvale Addition, and addition to the City of North Richland Hills, Texas; THENCE North 890 41' 03" East along the South line of the Oakvale Addition a distance of 1482.27 feet, said point being the Southeast corner of the said addition; THENCE South 00 29' East a distance of 1427.29 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE South 10 36' East a distance of 275.10 feet to a point for a corner, said point being in the Søuth line of John Autry Road; THENCE East along the South line of John Autry Road, a distance of 1288.88 feet to a point for a corner, said point being in the center- line of Smithfield Keller Road; THENCE South 60 30' West along the centerline of Smithfield Keller Road, a distance of 1326.27 feet to the Point of Beginning, and containing 123.894 acres of land . This property is bounded on the vIest by Smith- field Road, and on the South by Starnes Road.
