The North Rich1and Hills City Counoil held a special meeting April 18, 1960 at the City Offioe, 7109 Grapevine Hwy. and was called to order at 7:20 P. M. In the absenoe of Mayor Perry and Mayor Pro-tem Zel"/ers, Mr. Graner was appointed Acting Chairman by aoclamation by Councilmen Bell, Campbell and Johns. Mr. Graner introduced Mr. J. J. Crimm. and Mr. W. P. Porterfield of the L4né Star Gas Co. who explained the proposed gas rate schedule for residential and commercial users and asked the Council to approve the suggested Ordinance which waS read. Mr. Campbell moved to accept the said Ofdinance, which has been attached and made a part of these minutes. Mr. Bell seconded the motion which carried. Mr. Johns moved to accept petition from Clark W. Smith and sixty-nine (69) others for annexation to the City of North Richland Hills and adopt the Ordinance as read annexing the area described in aforesaid petition. Mr. Bell seoonded the motion. Motion carried. Mr. Campbell moved to aocept petition from Fred M. Morrow and seven- teen (17) others for annexation to the City of North Richland Hills and adopt the Ordinance as read annexing the area described in the aforesaid petition. Mr. Johns seoonded the motion. Motion oarried. Both of the above mentioned Ordinanoes attaohed and made a part of these minutes. --- Mrs. Johnson, along with three others, read a petition of oomplaint signed by seventeen (17) other residents of the Woodbert Addition in regards to livestook being kept in a residential area. One copy of said petition attaohed and becoming a part of these minutes. After lengthy disoussion. Mr. Bell moved that the City Attorney, at his earliest opportunity, study existing county and other municipal- ities regulations in respect to keeping of livestock, with purpose of making a recommendation of suitable amendment to Ordinance No. IIf bearing in mind Councils desire in respeot to minimum size lot and minimum distanoes from residential areas. Mr. Johns seconded the mot ion whioh carried. Mr. Johns moved to purchase an official minutes book and present book certified and filed. Mr. Campbell seoonded the motion. Motion carried. Mr. Bell moved to adjourn at 9:00 P. M. Seoonded by Mr. Campbell. Mot ion 0 arried .
