ORDINANCE No. 426
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING, ADOPTING, AND CLOS ING THE ASSESSMENT ROLLS
FOR THE CITY OF NORTH RICHIAND HIILS, TEXAS
FOR THE YEAR 1972
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 425 passed July 24, 1972, the City Council
of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas approved and adopted the assessment
rolls of the City of North Rich1and Hills, Texas, as certified by the Board of
Equalization, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Equalization has delivered to the City Council
its "Supplemental Certification to the City Council of Approval by the Board of
Equalization of Assessment Rolls" and further certified that assessments on all
property subject to taxation within the City of North Richland Hills, Texas,
which has come to its attention has now been approved by said Board, and
WHEREAS, the said Ordinance No. 425 expressly excluded certain pro-
perty, hereinafter described, which should now be included in the approved
assessment rolls, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable by the City Council of the City of
North Richland Hills that the provisions of Ordinance No. 425 should be incor-
porated herein, except where in conflict, so that one instrument will contain
the approval of the assessment rolls for the City of North Richland Hills, Texas,
for the tax year 1972, and to finally close the said assessment rolls,
NCM THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
North Richland Hills, Texas, that the assessment rolls as certified by the Board
of Equalization of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, on July 24, 1972,
and by supplemental certification On July 31, 1972, be; and they are hereby
approved and adopted as the assessment rolls to be used for. the collection of
taxes for the current year, without exception, and expressly including all as-
sessments heretofore approved by Ordinance No. 425, and the assessments with
respect to Abstract 1653, Tracts 3 and 3B of Lendon C. Walker Survey, of the
City of North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas, consisting of 101.665
acres, as certified by the Board of Equalization by supplemental certification
da ted July 31, 1972.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessment rolls for the City of
North Richland Hills, Texas, for the tax year 1972, be and they are hereby
finally closed. The fact that the fiscal period begins on October I, 197 ,
require;; that this ordinance be effective upon its passage and adopt-Lo·n to
preserve the public peace, prosperity, health and safety, and tbQ rules re~uir-
ing ordinances to be read and paffed on two separate dates is hereby suspel1ded
and thi::: ordinance shall he inEul1 force and effect from and after its passage
and adoption.

SUPPLEMENTAL CERTIFICATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL
OF APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
OF ASSESSMENT ROLLS
We, the undersigned members of the Board of Equalization of the
City of North Richland Hills, Texas, duly appointed as such for the current
year by the City Council of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, do hereby
return to the said City Council this our Supplemental Certification to the City
Council of Approval by the Board of Equalization of Assessment Rolls, supple-
menting the certification heretofore made on July 24, 1972, adding the following
which was omitted from the said original certification because of a court order
restraining this board from any action in relation to the hereinafter described
property:
The assessment of Abstract 1653, Tracts 3 and 3B of Lendon C. Walker
Survey of the City of North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas, consisting
of 101.665 acres, belonging to Henry H. Dickerson and Robert S. Folsom, at
$45,970.00 for Tract 3 and $42,420.00 for Tract 3B is hereby approved. Assess-
ments on all property subject to taxation within the City of North Richland Hills,
Texas which has cOme to our attention having nOw been approved by this board, this
Supplemental Certification will constitute the final action of this board for the
tax year 1972.
