CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Don Bowen at 6:34 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT Chairman Don Bowen Bill Schopper James Laubacher John Lewis ABSENT Alternate George Tucker Ted Nehring Brenda Cole Richard Davis CITY STAFF Director of Development Zoning Administrator City Planner Director of Public Works Asst. Director of Public Works Engineering Associate Recording Secretary John Pitstick Dave Green Donna Jackson Mike Curtis Lance Barton Jon Lovell Holly Blake 3. CONSIDERATION OF A REQUEST FROM JOE OGGIER FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE FINAL PLAT OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1 OF OGGIER ESTATES LOCATED IN THE 8600 BLOCK OF MARTIN DRIVE (.5 ACRES). APPROVED Zoning Administrator Dave Green summarized the case. The applicant, Joe Oggier, is present. He is requesting a final plat which, if approved by P&Z this evening will go to City Council on March 13, 2003. This is the tract along Martin Drive, which was approved as a preliminary plat called Oggier Estates. This final is for Lot 1 Block 1 of Oggier Estates. This is going to be a home site for Mr. Oggier. Public Works comments Page 1 2/20/03 P & Z Minutes indicate that there are items that still need to be addressed. Mr. Green stated that although staff considers the items addressed by Public Works to be minor, these items should be resolved before the plat is filed in the courthouse. John Lewis asked for an explanation of the Public Works items. Mr. Barton stated that there are two. The right-of-way line of Martin entering the curve is a non-tangent curb. This is not a straight line, it is slightly kicked and staff is asking the applicant to reflect the right-of-way line more accurately. This does not affect the lot itself at all. The other item pertains to an omission on the plat. The owners are Joe and Monica Oggier but, in the corner of the plat, it does not list Joe and Monica Oggier as owners. Public Works believes this item has already been corrected. Chairman Bowen called for a motion. Bill Schopper, seconded by John Lewis, motioned to approve PS 2002-52 subject to the engineering comments. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). The official meeting ended at this point and the Planning & Zoning Commission continued with a worksession. Chairman Secretary ~Q~ 1;)~ Ted Nehring .. Don Bowen Page 2 2/20/03 P & Z Minutes
