HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2025-015 RESOLUTION NO. 2025-015 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, RECOMMENDING AWARD OF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT BY TARRANT COUNTY TO TEXAS CAPITAL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, LLC, FOR THE 50th ANNUAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM PROJECT IDENTIFIED AS MATSON STREET SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Matson Street Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project was bid by Tarrant County as a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project on January 15, 2025; and WHEREAS, CDBG funds available for the construction of Matson Street Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project total $331,960.05; and WHEREAS, Tarrant County's consultant and City staff have recommended award of the Project's bid to Capital Underground Utilities, LLC; and WHEREAS, Tarrant County desires a recommendation by the City Council of the City of North Richland Hills to award the contract. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The City of North Richland Hills hereby recommends that Tarrant County award the contract for the Matson Street Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project (CDBG) to Capital Underground Utilities, LLC, in the amount of $157,349.00. SECTION 2. All Resolutions of the City Council of the City in conflict herewith are hereby amended or repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption, and it is so resolved. PASSED AND APPROVED on this 10th day of February, 2025.
