GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Neighborhood Services Department prepares action minutes for each Keep NRH Beautiful meeting. The minutes for the previous meeting are placed on the agenda for review and approval by the Keep NRH Beautiful Commission. Upon approval of the minutes, an electronic copy will be uploaded to the City's website. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the minutes of the July 15, 2025 Keep NRH Beautiful meeting. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE KEEP NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, HELD AT THE NORTH RICHLAND HILLS CITY HALL 4301 CITY POINT DRIVE TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2025 The Keep North Richland Hills Beautiful Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas met for a meeting on the 15t" day of July 2025 at 5.45 p.m. in the Community Room. A. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 5.45 p.m. Present: Kathy Luppy Chair Donah Tyner Place 1 Byron Bradford Place 2 Eric Welborn Place 3 Mark Seay Place 4 Charlie Ruiz Place 5 Bill Whitsett Place 7 Traci Maze Alternate Staff Members: Kristin James, Assistant Director of Neighborhood Services B. PUPLIC COMMENTS No Public Comments were made. C. ACTION ITEMS CA Approve minutes of the December 10, 2017 Keep NRH Beautiful Meeting Bill Whitsett motioned to approve the minutes, and the motion was seconded by Donah Tyner. The Commission then approved the minutes unanimously. C.2 Approve the minutes of the December 9, 2018 Keep NRH Beautiful Meeting Mark Seay motioned to approve the minutes, and the motion was seconded by Bill Whitsett. The Commission approved the minutes unanimously. C.3 Approve the minutes of the December 12, 2021 Keep NRH Beautiful Meeting Donah Tyner motioned to approve the minutes, and the motion was seconded by Mark Seay. The Commission approved the minutes unanimously. CA Approve the Minutes of the June 17, 2025 Keep NRH Beautiful Meeting Page 1 of 3 Bill Whitsett motioned to approve the minutes, and Mark Seay seconded the motion. The Commission approved the minutes unanimously. D. PRESENTATION/DISCUSSION ITEMS DA Welcome New Members to the Keep NRH Beautiful Commission Chair Kathy Luppy welcomed the Keep NRH Beautiful Commission members to the first meeting of the year. The meeting kicked off with each commission member introducing and sharing a little bit of background information about how they became involved in the KNRHB. Kristin James went through a PowerPoint presentation that included information about the Neighborhood Services Department under which KNRHB falls, an overview of KNRHB, what the purpose of the commission is, KNRHB's major affiliations, information about awards and recognitions, and the commissions programs and events. After the presentation, the floor was open for questions. D.2 Discuss Classes and Schedule for 2025 Mrs. James presented the following schedule for the remainder of 2025. She reminded the commission that this calendar was subject to change and that there were still many events in the fall yet to be scheduled. The Keep NRH Beautiful Commission does not have an official vision or mission statement. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This item allows KNRHB the opportunity to discuss if they would like to create a mission and vision statement, and if so, gives time for the Commission to discuss and create the two statements. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Keep NRH Beautiful Commission's 2025 Trash Bash Litter Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025. This item is to provide information regarding registrations, as well as discuss the logistics of the event. This item allows for the Commission to discuss the upcoming schedule of events and activities.
