SEPTEMBER 25, 2025
The Teen Court Advisory Committee of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas met on
September 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the CITY HALL COMMUNITY ROOM.
A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Karen Russell called the meeting to order at 6:17 p.m.

There were no requests to speak from the public.
C. ACTION ITEMS
CA APPROVE MINUTES OF MAY 6, 2025, TEEN COURT ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
A motion was made by Ron Moore, seconded by Amanda Roach to approve the motion.
Motion to approve carried 9-0
D. DEPARTMENT UPDATES
DA INTRODUCE NEW BOARD MEMBERS AND VOLUTEERS
Introduced newest members of the board as well as discussed, the current volunteer opportunities and
availability of projects and credit opportunities available to the teens.Also, the board discussed current
trends for service projects and requirements for volunteers.
D.2 RECEIVE UPDATE ON TEEN COURT PROCEEDINGS
The board was updated by Rafael Martinez on updates to the defendant processes, flow of court and
updated safety procedures.As well as reminders for processes to be followed for both types of cases
and dismissal procedures.
D.3 RECEIVE UPDATE ON NEW TEEN COURT SCHEDULE(JANUARY-JUNE)
The board was updated on dates, hours, and upcoming schedule for the beginning of 2026.
E. ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Karen Russell adjourned the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
