The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills met at
7:30 P.M. February 26, 1970, to hear and determine the application of James T.
Wood Sr. to rezone the following described property from its present class-
ification of "Agriculture" to a proposed classification of "Specific Use". Field
notes of 6.5281 acres of land out of the S. Richardson Survey in Tarrant County,
Texas. Beginning at an iron pin the East line of State Highway F.M. #1938. Said
pin being the Northwest corner of a tract of land as shown in Volume 3874 Page
462 Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas. Thence East wïth the North line of
said tract 666.2 feet an iron pin the Northeast corner of said tract. Thence
North with fence line 547.95 feet an iron pin. Thence South 84 degrees 20' West
380.0 feet an iron pin. Thence South 85 degrees 48' West 286.0 feet an iron pin
in the East line of. said Highway. Thence South 0 degrees 25' West with said East
line 25.0 feet an iron pin the Northwest corner of a tract of land as shown in
Volume 3907 Page 501 Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas. Thence South 89 de-
grees 35' East with the North line of said tract 262.0 feet ån iron pin the
Northeast corner of said tract. Thence South 25 degrees 55' West with the West
line of said tract 341.43 feet an iron pin the Southeast corner of said tract.
Thence South 66 degrees 15' West with the South line of said tract 126.65 feet
an iron pin in the East line of said Highway the Southwest corner of said tract.
Thence South 0 degrees 25' West with said East line 100.5 feet to the place of
beginning. Tract surrounds Harrington grocery on 1938 on three sides.
The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present, Mr. Ray
Porter, Chairman, 111'. Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, ~fr. John Sprott Jr.,
Secretary, and Hr. John Crawford, voted unanimously in favor of recommending
approval of this zoning request as submitted. The Planning 'and Zoning Commission,
therefore, recommends the approval of the City Council on Planning and Zoning
