CALL TO ORDER
Chairwoman Kathy Antropik called the meeting to order on January 15, 2026, at 6:02 pm.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
This meeting had no public comments.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Chambers moved to accept the minutes, Ms. Herron seconded, and the minutes were
unanimously approved.
LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Ms. Barham reviewed the library's key performance indicators from November and
December 2025 and answered questions.
REPORT ON PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
Ms. Barham reported on past Library events:
• NRH Christmas Tree Lighting event on 12/4/25 from 6:00-8:00pm: 623 people
attended.
• Behind the Book event with author Katherine Center on 12/10/25 at 1:00pm: 131
people attended.
• Pinterest Party (lace flowers) on 1/3 at 11:00am: 21 people participated.
• Dress & Decorum: Translating Regency-era clothing Into Living History on 1/6 at
6:00pm: 45 people attended.
• Jane Austen Movie Night on 1/12 at 6:00pm: 21 people attended.
• Regency Music with 50 Strings Duo on 1/13 at 6:00pm: 109 people attended.
And upcoming events, including:
• Jane's Afternoon Tea event on 1/24 from 12:00-2:00pm.
• Start your Own Business educational workshop class on 1/28 at 6:00pm.
• AARP Tax Aide appointments from 2/2-4/13 on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Celebrating Culture series (Western Music with Kristyn Harris on 3/24 at 6:00pm.
2026 LIBRARY GOALS AND OPERATIONAL PRIORITIES
Ms. Barham presented the 2025 Citizen survey and Library Cardholders survey results.
Based on these results the library leadership team evaluated the Library SMART goals
target and outlined operational priorities for 2026. Mrs. Barham discussed the operational
priorities and answered questions from the board.

The next meeting will be held on February 19, 2026 at 6:00pm.
