FOR THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS,
HELD AT THE NORTH RICHLAND HILLS CITY HALL

The Keep North Richland Hills Beautiful Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas met
for a meeting on the 16th day of September 2025 at 5:45 p.m. in the Neighborhood Services
Conference Room.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m.

B. PUPLIC COMMENTS
No Public Comments were made.
C. ACTION ITEMS
C.1 Approve minutes of the July 15, 2025 Keep NRH Beautiful Meeting
Bill Whitsett motioned to approve the minutes, and the motion was seconded by Donah
Tyner. The Commission then approved the minutes unanimously.
D. PRESENTATION/DISCUSSION ITEMS
D.1 Discuss KNRHB Mission and Vision Statement
Mrs. James presented this item and asked the Commission Members whether creating a
mission and vision statement should be a priority for the commission. The members agreed
that it was not necessary at this time.

D.2 Discuss the 2025 Trash Bash
Mrs. James presented this item and informed thee, Commission that approximately 175
volunteers were expected to be registered for the event. She noted that food for the
volunteer picnic had not yet been secured but mentioned that she had contacted multiple
vendors and was awaiting responses. Mr. Seay offered to assist with obtaining donations
and requested that Mrs. James provide him with the number of attendees and a list of the
vendors she had contacted. The Commission also discussed the schedule and setup for the
day.
D.3 Discuss Classes and Schedule for 2025
Mrs. James presented the following schedule for the remainder of 2025. She reminded the
commission that this calendar was subject to change.
Sounds of Spring Concert Makeup (The Elton Johns) — Saturday, September
27 @ 6pm (NRH City Hall Plaza)
Trash Bash —Saturday, October 4 @ 8 am (NRH2O)
Garden Class Fall Veggie Gardening — Thursday, October 9 @ 5:30 pm (Library
Community Room)
KNRHB Meeting —Tuesday, October 21 (Community Room)
NRH Pumpkin Point— Saturday, October 25 @ 5:00 pm (NRH City Hall Plaza)
Snow Heights Polar Bash - Saturday, November 8 @ 1 pm — 4 pm (Snow
Heights)
Garden Class Container Gardening — Thursday, November 13 @ 5:30 pm

Walker Creek Recycling Activity — Friday, November 14 @ TBD (Walker Creek
