OF THE KEEP NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION
FOR THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS,
HELD AT THE NORTH RICHLAND HILLS CITY HALL

The Keep North Richland Hills Beautiful Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas met
for a meeting on the 17th day of February 2026 at 5:45 p.m. in the Neighborhood Services
Conference Room.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m.

C. ACTION ITEMS
C.1 Approve minutes of the October 21, 2025 Keep NRH Beautiful Meeting
Donah Tyner motioned to approve the minutes, and the motion was seconded by Mark Seay.
The Commission then approved the minutes unanimously.
C.2 Approve minutes of the December 14, 2025 Keep NRH Beautiful Meeting
Charlie Ruiz motioned to approve the minutes, and the motion was seconded by Donah
Tyner. The Commission then approved the minutes unanimously.

D. PRESENTATION/DISCUSSION ITEMS
D.1 Discuss Governor's Community Achievement Award
Chair Kathy Luppy introduced the item by explaining to the Commission what the Governor's
Community Achievement Award (GCAA) is and a history of how the Commission had won
the award in the past.
Kristin James then presented that the application had not been completed yet and that the
application deadline had been moved back to March 12, 2026, which is much later than in
previous years. The Commission then discussed the judging process for the application. Ms.
James said that she would have the application done in the next couple of weeks and that
she would send it out for review once completed.
D.2 Discuss Classes and Schedule for 2025
Mrs. James presented the following schedule for 2026. She reminded the commission that
this calendar was subject to change.
North Ridge Idea Explosion — Friday, February 20 in the 7:30 AM (North Ridge
Elementary)
KTB RECOGNITION DUE — February 20
Community Garden Spring Seminar— Saturday, February 21 at 8:00 AM (Grand Hall)
