The Teen Court Advisory Committee of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas met on January
29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the MUNICIPAL COURT, 2ND FLOOR, MASTER JURY 1.
A. CALL TO ORDER
Recording Secretary Mandi Sullins called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.

There were no requests to speak from the public.
C. ACTION ITEMS
C.1. APPROVE MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 25, 2025, TEEN COURT ADVISORY BOARD
MEETING
A motion was made by Ron Moore, seconded by Bethany Grohman to approve the motion.
Motion to approve carried 7-0
D. DEPARTMENT UPDATES
DA RECEIVE UPDATE ON TEEN COURT PROCEEDINGS
The board was updated by Rafael Martinez on updates to the defendant processes, flow of court and
updated safety procedures.As well as reminders for processes to be followed for both types of cases
and dismissal procedures.Alos, the board was updated on upcoming events and classes for teen
attorneys and upcoming competition, new volunteer Judges and additional volunteers.
D.2 RECEIVE UPDATE ON NEW TEEN COURT SCHEDULE(DUNE- DECEMBER 2026)
The board was updated on dates, hours, and upcoming schedule for the remainder of 2026.
E. ADJOURNMENT
Recording Secretary Mandi Sullins adjourned the meeting at 6:47 p.m.
