A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VARIOUS
BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES; ESTABLISHING
TERMS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, City Council appoints members of the public to serve on various boards,
commissions, and committees; and
WHEREAS, appointed members serve a three-year term, unless appointed to fulfill an
unexpired term or where the terms of office for the respective board is either
governed by state law, charter, or ordinance; and
WHEREAS, each member serves until their successor has been duly appointed and
qualified; and
WHEREAS, the terms of office for the Construction Code Appeals Board, Keep North
Richland Hills Beautiful Commission, Library Board, Parks and Recreation
Board, and Teen Court Advisory Board align with the terms of elected
officials; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council members in Places 2, 4, and 6 have submitted their
nominations for consideration by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the below names include recommendations from Council members Parks
and Deupree to fill various vacancies.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following members are hereby appointed by approval of a majority of
the City Council to various boards, commission, and committees.
