AN ORDINANCE COHPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND AHEND:HENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED
AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COH-
NISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOm-IBER 13, 1967
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
liThe governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordi-
nance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established".
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECO}>;}ŒNDATION IS SUIJ.UTTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILlS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING C01>1MISSION:

ON CASE PZ 70-18 the following described property is hereby recommended to be
denied to be rezoned from "Agriculture" to a proposed classification of "IF-7
One Family Dwelling" described as follows: FIELD NOTES of a tract of land out of
the John Barlough Survey, A-130, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more fully de-
scribed by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a bois d'arc stake in fence
corner, the Southeast corner of a 61.2 acre tract conveyed to Earnest Earl Newman
and wife as recorded in Volume 2254, Page 218, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
said point being approximately 661 feet North of the Southeast corner of John Bar-
lough Survey; THENCE North 0° 15 minutes West with fence along the East line of said
Newman tract and continuing along the East line of a 10 acre tract conveyed to Earl
E. Newman and wife as recorded in Volume 2769, Page 521, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas, a total distance of 2348.9 feet to a 3/4 inch iron pipe for the Northeast
corner of said 10 acre tract; THENCE North 89° 36 minutes West with fence line and
North line of said 10 acre tract 865.3 feet to a steel rod for corner; THENCE South
89° 57 minutes West, 78.5 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Sunny
l1eadow Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-10, Page 96, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas; THENCE South 0° 18 minutes West, 130.0 feet to a steel rod for the Southwest
corner of said Lot 1, Block 1, in the North R.O.W. line of Pearl Street; THENCE South
89° 48 minutes East, 78.5 feet to Southeast corner of said Lot 1; TliENCE South 11° 50
minutes East crossing Pearl Street, 50.75 feet to a steel rod, the Northwest corner
of Lot 2, Block 2; THENCE South 0° 59 minutes East, 122.43 feet to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 2; THENCE North 77° 59 minutes East, 100.2 feet to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 2; THENCE North 0° 04 minutes 'i'lest, 101.2 feet to the Northeast
corner of said Lot 2 in the South R.O.Iv. line of Pearl Street; THENCE South 89° 48
minutes East along the South R.O.W. line of Pearl Street, 275.0 feet to the North-
east corner of Lot 1, Block 5, Sunny Eeadow Addition; THENCE South 0° 01 minutes Hest,
135.0 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 1, Block 5; THENCE South 36° 26
minutes East, 62.75 feet to the most Easterly corner of Lot 20, Block 5; THENCE South
40° 28 minutes vlest, 135.0 feet; THENCE South 59° 29 minutes ìvest, 409.0 feet to a
steel rod for the Southwest corner of Lot 15, Block 5, Sunny Meadow Addition in the
Easterly R.O. 1I. line of Nevnnan Drive; THENCE North 29° 43 minutes West along Easterly
R.O.ìf. line of N~iman Drive, 180.0 feet to a bois d'arc stake, the Southwest corner
of Lot 6, Block 2, said addition; THENCE South 59° 29 minutes ¡Jest, crossing Newman
Drive, a total distance of 125.0 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left whose
radius is 265.0 feet; THENCE Southerly with said curve to the left a distance of 25.0
feet to the most southerly corner of Lot 3, Block 3, said Sunny l1eadow Addition;
THENCE North 32° 30 minutes West 120.2 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 3;

line of Newman tract; THENCE North 00 25 minutes 45 seconds vlest, 568.75 feet to a
point for corner; THENCE North 890 34 minutes 15 seconds East, 96.2 feet to the
~eginning of a curve to the left, radius of 304.05 feet; THENCE Northeasterly along
said curve to the left, a distance of 159.66 feet to the end of said curve; TtŒNcE
North 590 29 ~inutes East, 59.38 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 00 25
minutes 45 seconds East, 639.49 feet to a point for corner; TIŒNCE South 890 34
minutes 15 seconds West, 300.0 feet to the place of beginning, and containing 4.03
acres of land, more or less. Newman Drive enter this property on the West side.
Bounded on the :East by lIangham Airport, on the South by the property zoned Specific
Use for Richland Enterprises, on the Hest by a IIultiple Family tract under same
ovmership as the applicant.
