AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND A}ŒND~ŒNTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED,
AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM-
MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967
AND DECLARING AN EߌRGENCY.
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
liThe governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordi-
nance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established".

CASE PZ 69-13
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North
Richland Hills met June 26, 1969 to hear and determine the
application of E. P. Haltom to rezone the following described
property from its p:cesent classification of "1F-12" to a
proposed classification of "Local-Retail". A part of the
J. M. Vandusen Survey, Abstract No. 1588, situated about 7
miles northeast from the courthouse in Tarrant County, Texas,
and being a portion of the 703-58/100 acres tract conveyed
to Evanda P. Haltom by the deed recorded in volume 3185,
page 627 of the Tarrant County Deed Records. Commence at a
point for the intersection of the west line of Rufe Snow Drive
and the north line of Glenview Drive, being 52 feet west of the
east line of said Vandusen Survey and 56-7/10 feet north of the
south line of said survey and then run north 89 degrees-26 minutes
west, along said north line of Glenview Drive, 790-3/10 feet to
a point for the southwest corner of the 12-855/1000 aores tract
previously zoned Local-Retail by the City of North Riohland Hills
and for the southerly southeast corner of the tract being
described. Thence continuing north 89 degrees 26 minutes west,
along said north line of Glenview Drive, 963-8/10 feet to a point
in the west line of said Vandusen Survey and 56-7/10 feet north of
its southwest corner. Thence north, along said survey line,
1159-1/10 feet to its intersection with the south line of the
90-28/100 acres tract conveyed to Lillian Randle Haltom as Traot
No. 2 in the deed recorded in volume 3186, page 631 of said deed
records. Thence east, along said traot line, 1779-5/10 feet to
its intersection with the west line of Rufe Snow Drive and being
32-7/10 feet west of the east line of said Vandusen Survey.
Thence south no degrees-46 minutes west, along said west line of
Rufe Snow Drive, 476-6/10 feet to a point for the northeast corner
of said 12-855/1000 acres tract. Thence north 89 degrees 26
minutes west, along the north line of said tract, 800 feet to its
northwest corner. Thence south no degrees 46 minutes west, along
the west line of said tract, 700 feet to the place of beginning and
containing 34-64/100 acres.
This property is bounded by Glenview on the South and L shapes to Rufe
Snow Drive on the East.

The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present, 11r. Ray Porter,
Chairman, }~. Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, ~œ. John Sprott Jr., Secretary, and }~.
John Crawford, voted unanimously in favor of recommending approval of this zoning
request as submitted. The Planning and Zoning Commission, therefore, recommends the
approval of the City Council on Planning and Zoning Case PZ 69-13
