ORDINANCE NO. 266

AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND AMENDNENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILlS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED
AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM-
}USSION AND BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
"The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordi-
nance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established".
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLIDWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NORHT RICHIAND HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:

CASE PZ 69-15
The Planning and Zoning Comlnission of the Cit;)T of North Richland Hills
met June 26, 1969 to hear and determine the application of E.P. Haltom
to rezone the following described property from its present classification
of "Agriculture" to a proposed classification of "Neighborhood Retail".
Part of the l'lm. Trimble Survey, Abstract No. 1520, situated in the City
of North Richland Hills, about 7 miles northeasterly from the courthouse
in Tarrant County, Texas, and embracing a portion of the 703-58/100 acres
tract conveyed to Evanda P. Haltom by the deed recorded in volume 3185,
page 627 of the Tarrant County Deed Records. Commence at the southeast
corner of said Trimble Survey and run north along its east line 96-5/10
feet to its intersection with the north line of the right of way for
Glenview Drive for the southeast and beginning corner of the tract being
described. Thence northwesterly, along said north line of Glenview Drive,
along a curve to the right vlhose center bears north 200 20 minutes east
676-2/10 feet, a distance of 377-2/10 feet. Thence east 300 feet to a
point in said east line of the l'~. Trimble Survey. Thence south, along
said survey line, 220-5/10 feet to the place of beginning and containing
0-908/1000 of an acre. This property is bounded by Glenview Drive on the
vlest, and Dawn Street dea.d ends to Glenview on the South.
The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present, Hr.
Ray Porter, Chairman, Nr. Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, and Hr. Mr. John
Sprott Jr., Secretary, voted unanimously in favor of recommending approval
of this zoning request as submitted. The Planning and Zoning Commission,
therefore, recommends the approval of the City Council on Planning and
Zoning Case PZ 69-15
