AN ORDINANCE COHPLYING vlITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND AHENDNENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLA.ND HILIS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED
AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING CON-
:MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLA.ND HILIS, NomŒER 13, 1967
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
"The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordi-
nance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOI..LOVIING RECON11ENDATION IS SUBNITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLA.ND HILIS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING CO}J}1ISSION:

ON CASE PZ 71-1 the following described property is hereby recommended to be
approvc<Ito be rezoned from "IF-9 One Family Dwelling" to a proposed classi-
fication of "IF-7 One Family Dwelling" described as follows: Situated in
Tarrant County, Texas, and being a tract of land out of the William Mann Survey,
Abstract No. 1010, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING
at a point formed by the intersection of the centerline of Watauga-Smithfield
Road and the west right-of-way line of the st. Louis and Southwestern Railroad
right-of-way in North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas: THENCE North 64
degrees 31' East along the west right-of-way line of the st. Louis and South-
western Railroad a distance of 223.4 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE
North 0 d~grees 28' West a distance of 1,135.62 feet to a iron-rod in a fence
corner for a point for a corner; THENCE South 89 degrees 32' West a distance of
916.4 feet to a iron-rod in a fence corner a point for corner; THENCE North
o degrees 15' West a distance of 1,415.2 feet to a point for corner, same being
a spike in the centerline of County Road No. 3036; THENCE South 89 degrees 39'
West along the centerline of County Road No. 3036 a distance of 3,687.2 f~et to
a point for corner, same being 685 feet east of the centerline of Ruie Snow
Drive; THENCE South 0 degrees 4' West a distance of 750 feet to a point for a
corner; THENCE North 89 degrees 39' East a distance of 1,080 feet more or less
to a point for corner in the centerline of the Lone Star Gas Company easement;
THENCE southwest along the centerline of the Lone Star Gas Company easement a
distance of 175 feet to a point for corner; THENCE at right angles to the Lone
Star Gas Company easement in a southeasterly direction a distance of 325 feet to
a point for corner; THENCE at right angles to the above call and heading in a
southwesterly direction parallel to the centerline of the Lone Star Gas Company
easement a distance of 1,140 feet to a point for corner; THENCE east a distance
of 150 feet to a point for corner; THENCE south a distance of 165 feet to a
point for corner; THENCE west a distance of 180 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 61 degrees 30' West a distance of 330 feet more or less to a point
in the centerline of the Lone Star Gas Company easement; THENCE southwest along
the centerline of the Lone Star Gas Company easement a distance of 530 feet to a
point in· the centerline of Watauga Smithfield Road; THENCE North 89 degrees 52'
East along the centerline of Watauga Smithfield Road a distance of 3,656.22 feet
to the point of beginning and containing approximately 198 aores of land. This
property bounded on the North by Chapman Drive and on the South by Watauga Drive.

T.his Ordinance is passed as an emergency measure and that all rules requiring
more than one (1) reading of this Ordinance is suspended and the same shall take
effect emmediately from and after its passage.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS ACTING
IN REGULAR SESSION HEREBY DECLARES THAT THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY IN CASE NO.
.71-1 .IS HEREBY PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 8th DAY OF February
1971.
