AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HIlLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED,
AND ADOPTED BY THE PlANNING AND ZONING COM-
MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HIlLS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
liThe governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordi-
nance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established."
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECOMNENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HIlLS BY THE PlANNING AND ZONING CO}.<1MISSION:
Case PZ 69-20
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland
Hills met at 1:30 P.M. July 24 , 1969 to hear and determine
the application of E. P. Haltom to rezone the following described
property from its present classification of "Agriculture" to a
proposed classification of "1F-12 One Family Dwelling". 'rract 1-R:
Part of the Wm. 'rrimble Survey, Abstract No. 1520, situated in the
City of North Hichland Hills, about 7 miles northeasterly from the
courthouse in Tarrant County, Texas, and embracing a portion of the
703-58/100 acres tract conveyed to Evanda P. Haltom by the deed
recorded in volume 3185, page 627 of the Tarrant County Deed Records.
Beginning at a point in the east line of said Trimble Survey, 317
feet north of its southeast corner. Thence west 300 feet to a point
in the northeasterly line of the right of way for Glenview Drive.
Thence Northwesterly along said street line: along a curve to the
right with a radius of 676-2/10 feet, a distance of 105-9/10 feet to
the end of said curve; and north 23 degrees 44 minutes west 1411-45/100
feet to the beginning of a curve to the left with a radius of
921-97/100 feet; and then along said curve to the left a distance of
446-3/10 feet to its intersection with the south line of the right of
way tract conveyed to Texas Electric Service Company by the deed
recorded in volume 2042, page 479 of said deed records. Thence
south 89 degrees 48 minutes east, with said right of way line, 1336-1/10
feet to its intersection with said east line of Hm. Trimble Survey.
Thence south, along said survey line, 1647-1/10 feet to the place
of beginning and containing 29-094/1000 acres.

Tract 2-R: A tract embracing part of the Wm. Trimble Survey, Abstract
No. 1520, situated in the City of North Richland Hills, about 7 miles north-
easterly from the courthouse in Tarrant County, Texas, and embracing a portion
of the 703-58/100 acres tract conveyed to Evanda P. Haltom by the deed
recorded in volume 3185, page 627 of the Tarrant County Deed Records.
Commence at the northeast corner of the 116-636/1000 acres tract conveyed to
Diamond Oaks Country Club by the deed recorded in volume 3478, page 321 of
the Tarrant County Deed Records, and then run along its east line south
21 degrees 58 minutes east 974-3/10 feet and south 15 degrees 51 minutes east
749-1/10 feet to a point for the northwest and beginning corner of the tract
being described. Thence north 61 degrees 16 minutes east 874-4/10 feet to
a point in the westerly line of Glenview Drive. Thence along said street
line: south 28 degrees 44 minutes east 456-35/100 feet to the beginning of
a curve to the left with a radius of 756-2/10 feet; and then along said
curve to the left a distance of 215-35/100 feet. Thence south no degrees
21 minutes east 192-5/10 feet to a point in the south line of said Trimble
Survey. Thence north 89 degrees 26 minutes west, along said survey line,
1021-4/10 feet to its intersection with said east line of the Diamond Oaks
Country Club tract. Thence north 15 degrees 51 minutes west, along said
tract line, 346-9/10 feet to the place of beginning and containing 12-891/1000
acres.

Tract 3-R: A tract in the M. Lynch Survey, Abstract No. 953, situated about
7 miles northeasterly from the courthouse in Tarrant County, Texas, in the City
of North Richland Hills, and embracing a portion of the 703-58/100 acres tract
conveyed to Evanda P. Haltom by the deed recorded in volume 3185, page 627 of
the Tarrant County Deed Records. Beginning at the southeast corner of the
116-636/1000 acres tract conveyed to the Diamond Oaks Country Club by the
deed recorded in volume 3478, page 321 of said deed records, in the south
line of said Haltom tract in said Lynch Survey. Thence along the east line of
said 116-636/1000 acres tract north no degrees 29 minutes west 990-6/10 feet
and north 15 degrees 51 minutes west 872 feet to a point for the north line
of said Lynch Survey. Thence south 89 degrees 26 minutes east, along said
survey line, 1021-4/10 feet. Thence south no degrees 21 minutes east
204-2/10 feet. Thence north 89 degrees 39 minutes east 266-2/10 feet to a
point in the east line of the portion of said Haltom tract lying within said
Lynch Survey. Thence south no degrees 21 minutes east, along said tract line
1590-4/10 feet to a southeast corner of said Haltom tract and from which an
iron rod for the northeast corner of Lot 7 in Block 24 of Richland Hills West
Addition bears south 89 degrees 43 minutes west 11-4/10 feet. Thence south
89 degrees 43 minutes west, along a south line of said Haltom tract and along
the north line of said Block 24 and the north line of Block 23 of said addition,
752-5/10 feet to an iron rod for the northwest corner of Lot 2 in said Block 23
and a reentrant corner of said Haltom tract. Thence south no degrees 17 minutes
east, along the west line of said Lot 2 and an east line of said Haltom tract,
22-1/10 feet to an iron for a southeast corner of said Haltom tract. Thence
south 89 degrees 55 minutes west, along a south line of said Haltom tract,
299-6/10 feet to the place of beginning and containing 44-65/100 acres.
'~his property is bounded on all sides by property annexed from Haltom City.
