A N ORDINANCE COHPLYING vJITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND MŒNDHENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHlAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED
AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM-
MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHlAND HILLS, NOVEl'Œrn 13, 1967
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
"The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by
ordinance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established II

NOHN THEREFORE, THE FOLLOvTING REC011EENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL
QF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAJID HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COHHISSION:
CASE PZ 69-21
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills met
July 24, 1969 to hear and determine the application of rœ. E.P. Haltom to
rezone the follo~nng described property from its present classification of
"Agriculture" to a proposed classification of !!Neighborhood RetaiP. TRACT
7-NR: A tract embracing part of the lImo Trimble Survey, Abstract No. 1520,
part of the R.P. Barton Surve~r, Abstract No. 175, and part of the H. l¡ynch
SurveJr, Abstract No. 953, situated in the City of North Richland Hills,
about 7 miles northeasterly from the courthouse in Tarrant County, Texas,
and embracing a portion of the 703-58/100 acres tract conveyed to Evanda P.
Haltom by the deed recorded in volume 3185, page 627 of the Tarrant County
Deed Records. Begip~ing at a point in the south line of said Barton Survey
at its intersection ..lÍth the south line of the right of way of Glenview
Drive and being 41-7/10 feet from the soutl1West corner of said Barton Survey
and the southeast corner of said Trimble Survey and being in the north line
of said Lynch Survey. Thence North 890 26 minutes ''lest, along the south line
of said Barton aJ1d Trimble Surveys and said north line of the Eo L;¡rnch Survey,
73-6/10 feet to the northeast corner of the portion of said Haltom tract lying
..lithin said Lynch Surve;y and from "Thich an iron bears north 420 19 l-iinutes
west 17-05/100 feet. Thence south 0° 21 minutes east, along an east line of
said r~ltom tract, 200 feet. Thence south 89° 39 minutes west 266-2/10 feet.
Thence north 0° 21 minutes west 396-7/10 feet to a point in thesouthwesterly
line of the right of way for Glenvi~r Drive. Thence southeasterly, along said
southwesterly line of Glenview Drive, along a curve to the left with a radius
of 756-2/10 feet, a distance of 397-5/10 feet to the place of beginning and
containing 1-828/1000 acres, of which 1-236/1000 acres are within said Lynch
Survey, 0-006/1000 of an acre is within said }~on Survey, and 0-586/1000 of
an acre is within said Trimble Survey. This property is bounded on the north
by Glenvie¡'T Drive and property annexed from Hal tom City, bounded on t.he 'l"Test
and south of property a.n.T1exed from Hal tom City.

The PlanninG and Zoning Commission with the following members present, Nr. Ray
Porter, Chairman, Hr. Clarence P;yron, Vice Chairman, IIr. John Sprott Jr., Sec-
retaIJr, and Er. James 1'la]Jœr voted 1manimously in favor of recommending ap-
proval of this zoning request as submitted. The Planning and Zoning Con~Qssion,
therefore, recommends the approval of the City Council on Planning and Zoning
Case PZ 69-21
