ORDINANCE NO. 236
AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED
AND AOOPTED BY THE PLANNIN:i AND ZONING COM-
MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
"The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordi-
nance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established."

OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHIAND HILLS BY THE PLA.NNING AND ZONING COMHISSION:

The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills met 7:30 P.M.
November 26, 1968 to hear and determine the application of Mr. James A. Arthur to
rezone the following described property from its present classification of IIAgri-
culture" to a proposed classification of "Local-Retail". Field notes of a 17.768
acre tract of land out of the L.C. Walker Survey, A-1653, Tarrant County, Texas,
and being further described as follows: BEGINNING 600.74 feet South 89° 56 minutes
13 seconds East from the Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to Maude
Arthur, as recorded in Volume 1146, Page 631, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 89° 56 minutes 13 seconds East, 1251.92 feet to a point; THENCE South
00 21 minutes 49 seconds East, 394.75 feet to a point in the Northerly R.O.W. line
of State Highway No. 121; THENCE South 44° 47 minutes 02 seconds West along said
Northerly R.G..W. line of State Highway No. 121, 1190.35 feet to a point; THENCE
North 43° 00 minutes West, 300.22 feet to a point; THENCE North 44° 47 minutes 02
seconds East, 576.24 feet to a point; THENCE North 45° 12 minutes 58 seconds West,
869.39 feet to the place of beginning, and containing 17.768 acres of land, more
or less. Field notes of a 1.9027 acre tract of land out of L.C. ~valker Survey,
A-1653, Tarrant County, Texas, and being further described as f:ollows: BEGINNING
at a point in the Northerly R.O.W. line of State Highway No. 121; said point be-
ing 2270.23 feet South 0° 1 minute 27 seconds East of the Northwest corner of a
tract conveyed to Maude Arthur, as recorded Volume 1146, Page 631, Deed Records,
Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE North 440 47 minutes 02 seconds East, along said
Northerly R.O.~v. line of State Highway No. 121, 375-0 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 36° 12 minutes 58 seconds West, 447.55 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE South 00 01 minute 27 seconds East, 627.25 feet to the place of beginning,
and containing 1.9027 acres of land, more or less.

The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present: ~:1r. Ray
Porter, Chairman, Mr. Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, Mr. John Sprott Jr.,
Secretary, Mr. James Walker, and Mr. John Crawford voted 3-1 in favor of
reconnnending approval of this zoning request. The Planning and Zoning Connnission,
therefore, reconnnends the approval of the City Council on Planning and Zoning
Case PZ 68-40
