Case PZ 69-36
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills met at 7:30
P.11. November 20, 1969, to hear and determine the application of Hunt Properties
to rezone 198 acres on the following described property from its present classi-
fication of "Agriculture" to a proposed classification of "IF -9 One Family IMell-
ing". Situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being a tract of land out of the
William Nann Survey, Abstract No. 1010, and being more particularly described as
follows: BEGINNING at a point formed by the intersection of the centerline of
Watauga Smithfield Road and the West right-of way line of the St. Louis and South-
western Railroad right-of-way in North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 64° 31' East along the West right-of-way line of the St. Louis and
Southwestern Railroad a distance of 223.4 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE
North 0° 28' West a distance of 1,135.62 feet to a iron-rod in a fence corner for
a point for a corner; THENCE South 89° 32' West a distance of 916.4 feet to a iron
rod in a fence corner a point for a corner; THENCE North 0 ° 15' West a distance
of 1,415.2 feet to a point for a corner, same being a spike in the centerline of
County Road No. 3036; THENCE South 89° 39' ì'lest along the centerline of County
Road No. 3036 a distance of 3,687.2 feet to a point for corner, same being 685
feet East of the centerline of Rufe Snow Drive; THENCE South 0° 4' West a distance
of 750 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE North 89° 39' East a distance of 1,080
f'eet more or less to a point for corner in the centerline of the Lone Star Gas
Company easement; THENCE Southwest along the centerline of the Lone Star Gas CompanJl
easement a distance of 175 1'eet to a point for corner; THENCE at right angles to
the Lone Star Gas Company easement in a Southeasterly direction a distance of 325
feet to a point for corner; THENCE at right angles to the above call and heading
in a Southwesterly direction parallel to the centerline of the Lone Star Gas Com-
pany easement a distance of 1,140 feet to a point for corner; TfÐßNCE East a dis-
tnace 01' 150 feet to a point for corner; TIlliNCE South a distance of 165 feet to
a point for corner; THENCE vlest a distance of 180 feet to a point for corner;
TIlliNCE North 61 ° 30' ì'lest a distance of 330 feet more or less to a point in the
centerline of the Lone Star Gas Company easement; THENCE Southwest along the
centerline of the Lone Star Gas Company easement a distance of 530 feet to a
point in the centerline of v'latauga Smithfield Road; TIlliNCE North 89° 52' East
along the centerline of Watauga Smithfield Road a distnace of 3,656.22 feet to
the point of beginning and containing approximately 198 acres of land_ This
property is bounded on the North by Chapman Drive and on the South by Wata.uga
Drive.

Secretary, voted unanimously in favor of recommending approval of this zoning
request as submitted. The Planning and Zoning Commission, therefore, recommends
the approval of the City Council on Planning and Zoning Case PZ 69-36.
