HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 0237 ORDINANCE NO. 237 AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX CHA}GES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI- NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS,TEXAS,PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM- MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967 DECLAIRING AN EMERGENCY Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows: "The governing body may' from time to time amend, supplement or change byordi- nance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established." NŒ'¡, THEREFORE, THE FOLlOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE PlANNING AND ZO~ŒNG COMMISSION: Case 'PZ 68-42 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Rich1and Hills met at 7:30 P.M. November 26, 1968 to hear and determine the application of Mr. C.F. Grantham and Mr. Dug Higgins to rezone the following described property from its present classification of "Multiple Family Dwelling" to a proposed classification of "Commercial". Being 0.46 acres of land out of the A.G. vlalker Survey, Abstract 1606, Tarrant County, Texas and described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at an iron rod 884.5 feet (318.4 varas) East and 992.1 feet (357.2 varas) South of the Northwest corner of said A.G. Walker Survey, said point being within Will Snow Property; THENCE South 200.0 feet to an iron pin for corner in the North line of Harmonson Road; THENCE West, along the North line of Harmonson Road, 101.2 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 200.0 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE East 101.2 feet to the point of beginning and containing 0.46 acres of land. This property is located at 6817 Harmonson Road. That this Ordinance shall become effective on day of following its passage and adoption, and declaring an emergency. 1969 The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present: Mr. Ray Porter, Chairman, Mr. John Sprott Jr., Secretary, Mr. Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, Mr. James Walker, and Mr. John Crawford voted unanimously in favor of recoJmIlending denial of the zoning request.
