ORDINANCE NO. 203
AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX,
CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI-
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED
AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM-
MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967.
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
"The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement
or change by ordinance the boundaries of the districts or the
regulations herein established."

NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:
CASE PZ 68-18
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
North Richland Hills met at 7:30 P. M. June 27,
1968 to hear and determine the application of Dallas
Associates, Inc. to rezone the following described
property from its present classification of IF-12
One Family Dwelling to a proposed classification of
Local-Retail. Being 12.27 acre tract out of the
E. S. Carder Survey, L. C. Walker Survey, and the
D. C. Manning Survey, Tarrant County, Texas. The
following described tract or parcel of land situated
in the E. S. Carder Survey, A-308, L. C. Walker
Survey, A-1653, D. C. Manning Survey, A-1046, Tarrant
County, Texas and being a part of a 29.379 acre tract
as recorded on page 700 of Volume 4428 in the Tarrant
County Deed Records and being more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast
corner of E. S. Carder Survey; THENCE 3 0 degrees
09' W along the East line of said Carder Survey a
distance of 76.76 feet to the North line of State
Highway Number 121, THENCE Westerly along the North
line of said Highway Number 121 and along a curve
having a radius of 2866.83 feet a distance of 154.43
feet to an iron pin; THENCE N 89 degrees 23' W
along a fence a distance of 378.38 feet to an iron
pin; THENCE N 0 degrees 43' W along a fence a distance
of 724.72 feet; THENCE N 89 degrees 16' E a distance
of 547.97 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left
having a radius of 721.18 feet; THENCE along said
curve a distance of 258.65 feet to the East line of
said 29.379 acre tract; THENCE 3 0 degrees 21' E
along East line of said 29.379 acre tract a distance
of 556.11 feet to the North line of said State
Highway Number 121; THENCE Southwesterly along the
North line of said Highway Number 121 and along a
curve having a radius of 2866.83 feet a distance of
162.61 feet to the South line of said D. C. Manning
Survey; THENCE S 89 degrees 49'W a distance of 139.13
feet to place of beginning containing 12.27 acres of
land more or less.

The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following
members present: Mr. Ray Porter, Chairman, Mr.
Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, Mr. John Sprott Jr.,
Secretary, and Mr. James Walker, voted unanimously in
favor of recommending approval of this zoning request.
The Planning and Zoning Commission, therefore,
recommends the approval of the City Council on
Planning and Zoning Case PZ 68-18.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, acting in regular session declares
that the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission is
hereby PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 12th day of August 1968,
upon second reading, with 7 Councilmen present and 6 Council-
men voting yes and -1- Councilman voting no.
