ORDINANCE NO. 165

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CONSENT TO THE
CITY OF HURST TO ASSESS PROPERTY LYING WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS FOR THE
IMPROVEMENT OF BEDFORD EULESS ROAD, A PUBLIC
STREET, RUNNING ALONG THE BOUNDARY LINE OF
SAID CITIESr PROVIDING THAT THE TERMS HEREIN
CONTAINED SHALL BE SEPARABLE AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
Authority and consent is hereby granted to the
City of Hurst, County of Tarrant, State of Texas, to assess
any and all property and obtain necessary right of way, with-
in ~he city Limits of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas,
for the improvement of Bedford Euless Road, a public street,
being a common boundary between said cities, said authority
and consent being limited to necessary assessment and right
of way procurement for the improvement of that portion of
Bedford Euless Road, extending from the East right of way
line of Loop 820, to the East property line of Lot No.1,
Blk. No.9, of Woodcrest Addition, to the City of North Rich-
land Hills, Texas.

SECTION 11
This consent and authority is hereby granted under
the laws of the State of Texas and .in order to promote the
general welfare and well being of the citizens of North
Richland Hills and to improve the transportation and street
system within said city, being of mutual benefit to the
citizens of the City of Hurst, Tarrant County, Texas.
SECTION III
The fact that the City of Hùrst must meet a dead-
line and start construction within a specified time, in order
to insure voluntary financial participation by some of the
citizens affected, both citizens of the City of Hurst and the
City of North Richland Hills, an emergency is hereby created,
and it being necessary to waive and suspend any ordinance or

meeting of the city council and it is so ordained.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH
RICHLAND HILLS, THIS THIRTEENTH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1967.
