City Sec7vary fÆ'J/J~(L{¡~(or . ...f ORDINANCE NO. / ¿I},h WHEREAS~ in the furtherance of public health and safety of the City and its inhabitants it is necessary to regulate the operation of barber shops within the City limits of the City of North Richland Hills; and WHEREAS~ the City Council finds that the regulations set out herein are reasonable and necessary in the protection of the safety and health of the City and its inhabitants; NOW. THERE ft~ORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, that: 1. No person shall operate a barber shop within the City limits of the City of North Richland Hills without first procuring a permit therefor from the City Secretary. 2. Application for the permit shall be made with the City Secretary. and shall contain the following information: a. Name, address, age and years of experience of the owner, and/or operator of the shop; b. Name, address, age and years of experience of each barber in the shop; c. Address of the shop. Such application will also contain an agreement by the applicant to abide by all terms of the ordinance. 3. The Application shall be accompanied by a fee of $ /¿),/)2J for the shop, and a fee of $ I, ttJiJ for each barber therein. 4. Each permit shall expire on m~¿,4 31 of each calendar year and shall be renewed on or before the /4);--- /./../J_/z-/f of each yea r. ¿r 5. Each barber shop shall be open to inspection by the City Inspector, who shall ascertain that no practice is being followed which will lead to the spread of infectious disease. Each shop will be open for inspection by the Inspector at any time the shop is open for business. 6. It shall be unlawful to operate a barber shop on both the two consecutive days of Saturday and Sunday within the city limits of the City of North Richland~ Hills. 7. Any person violating any part or portion of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not in excess of $,:!¡1l,t'J.£P. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. 8. Should any portion of this ordinance be declared unconstitutional 01' invalid by a COllrt of competent jurisdiction, it shall in no way affect the remaining portion or sections. 9.
