HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 0218 r- · · · ~ ~ ORDINANCE NO. 218 AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX, CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, NOVEMBER 13, 1967 Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows: liThe governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordinance the boundaries of the districts or the reg- ulations herein established". NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: PZ 68-28 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, met at 7:30 P.M. August 22, 1968 to hear and determine the application of Mr. David M. Sherer and Mr. Joe Donald Meredith to rezone 14.6 acres out of the J.C. Yates Survey from its present classification of "Agriculture" to a proposed classification of II Local- Retail". The following described tract or parcel of land situated in the J.C. Yates Survey, Abstract 1753, Tarrant County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a railroad spike at the intersection of the centerline of Rufe Snow Drive with the centerline of Watauga-Smithfield Road and being N 30 15' E a distance of 2670.9 feet from the Southwest corner of said J.C. Yates Survey; THENCE S 890 59' E along said Watauga-Smithfield Road a distance of 945.0 feet; THENCE South a distance of 660.0 feet; THENCE N 890 59' W a distanoe of 982.48 feet to the centerline of said Rufe Snow Drive; THENCE N 30 15' E a distance of 661.06 feet to the place of beginning containing 14.6 acres of land more or less. The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present: Mr. Clarence Pyron, Mr. James Walker, and Mr. John Crawford, voted unanimously in favor of recommending approval of this zoning request as submitted. The Planning and Zoning Commission, therefore, recommends the approval of the City Council on Planning and Zoning Case PZ 68-28 APPROVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION THIS 1968 22 day of August. .J . . . ~ ,-,,,- .- - - - - . - . ~, .
