ORDINANCE NO. 186
AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX
CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI~
NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED,
APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVEMBER
13, 1967, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows:
"The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or
change the ordinance the boundaries of the districts or the re-
gulations herein established."
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION:
CASE PZ-68-2
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of North Richland Hills met at 7:30 P.M. February
15, 1968 to hear and determine the application of
Mr. F. C. Reconnu to rezone the following described
property from its present classification of Agri-
culture to a proposed classification of Industrial.
Being 9.1 acres out of the W. W. Wallace Survey,
Abstract 1606 situated in the City of North Richland
Hills, Texas, and being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the North West corner of said 166.5
acre tract, belonging to J. D. Wilson, Jr.
Thence South with center of county road Number 3051,
a distance of 656 feet to beginning point of 9.1
acre tract described as follows:
Thence East 630 feet to an iron pin for corner;
Thence South 630 feet to an iron pin for corner;
Thence West 630 feet to point in center of said
county road Number 3051;
Thence North with center of said county road Number
3051, a distance of 630 feet to place of beginning
containing 9.1 acres.
The Planning and Zoning Commission, with the following
members present: Mr. Clarence Pyron, Mr. John Sprott,
Jr., and Mr. John Crawford voted 3-0 in favor or recom-
mending approval of this zoning request as submitted.
The Planning and Zoning Commission, therefore, recom-
mends the approval of the City Council on Planning and
Zoning case PZ 68-2.
THE FACT THAT THERE IS AN IMPERATIVE NEED FOR THIS ORDINANCE CREATES
AN EMERGENCY, AND THE READING AND PASSAGE OF THIS ORDINANCE AT THREE
SEPARATE MEETINGS IS HEREBY SUSPENDED AND THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE
EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE FROM AND AFTER THE DATE OF ITS PASSAGE
AT AN SINGLE MEETING AND THE APPROVAL THEREOF OF THE MAYOR.

.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of/North Richland Hills, acting in regular session declares that the
recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 27th day of May , 1968, with 7
Councilmen present and 7 Councilmen voting yes and 0 Councilmen
voting no.
