The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills met
at 7:30 P.L October 24, 1968 to hear and determine the application of l'Tr.
L.L. Chapman to rezone the following described property from its present
classification of IF-9 One Family Dwelling to a proposed classification of
Local-11etai1 on the following described property.
A tract of land out of the J.H. Barlough Survey, Abstract No. 130, and being
more particular~y described as follows: BEGIliNING at an iron pin in the East
R.O.l!. line of Smithfield Road (County Road /*3004), sáid point being the S.l'l.
corner of a tract of land conveyed from Louie L. Chapman to Lottie and A.L.
Barbier, as recorded in Volu~e 3673, Page 369, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas; T}œ1JCE N. 880 51' E. 125.1 feet to a metal fence post for corner;
THENCE N. 00° 25' lJ. 137.2 feet to an iron pin in the South R.O.l[. line of
lIatauga Drive (County Road ì!3022); THENCE s. 890 53 E. along the South line
of said road 376.1 feet to an iron pin in the Westerly R.O.W. line of Davis
Blvd. (F.TT. Road ¡f1938); THENCE s. 30° 42' H. 430.0 feet to an iron pin which
is the beginning of a curve to the left that has a radius of 2924.79 feet;
THENCE along said curve to the left 411.0 feet to an iron pin; THENCE West
96.5 feet to an iron pin in the East line of Smithfield Road; TI~JCE North
597.9 feet along the East R.O.H. line of Smithfield Road to the POINT OF
BEGINlJING. COrITAINING 4.489 ACRES OF LAND. This property is located at the
intersection of Davis Blvd. and Smithfield Road.
The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present: Mr.
Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, Mr. JohnCrawford, and Mr. James Walker, voted
unanimously in favor of recommending approval of this zoning request as sub-
mitted. The Planning and Zoning Commission, therefore, recommends the approval
of the City Council on Planning and Zoning Case PZ 68-36
