HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 0199 ORDINANCE NO. 199 AN ORDINANCE COMPLYING WITH ARTICLE XXIX, CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, SECTION 1 OF ORDI- NANCE 179, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM- MISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, NOVE~rnER 13, 1967. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 179 reads as follows: "The governing body may from time to time amend, supplement or change by ordinance the boundaries of the districts or the regulations herein established." NOW, THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: CASE PZ 68-14 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills met at 7:30 P.M. June 27, 1968 to hear and determine the application of Mr. William A. Jackson to rezone the following described property from its present classification of Residential to a proposed classification of "Local-Retail". Tract or parcel of land in the W. W. Wallace Survey, Abstract 1606, THENCE North 12 degrees 35' 21 seconds East 128-0/10 feet to a point; THENCE South 80 degrees 24 minutes 39 seconds East 165-0/10 feet to a point; THENCE 30uth 9 degrees 08 minutes 20 seconds West 123-93/100 feet to a point in the South line of said 7-3/10 acre tract and the curved North right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 820; from which point the radius point of said curved right-of-way line bears South 9 degrees 08 minutes 20 seconds West 5904-58/100 feet; THENCE in a Northwesterly direction with said South line and said right-of-way line, along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 5904-58/100 feet, a distance of 172-73/100 feet to the place of beginning, containing in all 0-0486/1000 acre of land, more or less. The Planning and Zoning Commission with the following members present; Mr. Ray Porter, Chairman, Mr. Clarence Pyron, Vice Chairman, Mr. John Sprott Jr., Secretary, and Mr. James Walker, voted unanimously in favor of recommending approval of this zoning request as submitted. The Planning and Zoning Commission, there- fore, recommends the approval of the City Council on Planning and Zoning Case PZ 68-14. APPROVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION THIS 27th day of JUNE, 1968.
