AMENDING A FRANCHISE GRANTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 56
TO TARRANT COUNTY WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION
WHEREAS, on the 9 day of May, 1960, the City
Counei 1 of the City of North Richland Hi 115 ~Jranted a franchise
to Tarrant County Water Supply Corporation, a non-profit
corporation, for the purposes therein stated; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City Counei 1 of the
City of North Richland Hills that the aforementioned franchise
be amended;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH ~ICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
1. That the franchise granted the Tarrant County
Water Supply Corporation by ordinance of the City Counci 1 of
the City of North Richland Hi 115 on the 26th day of October,
1959, be amended by adding the following as Section 7-A,
to-wit:
"Section 7-A. After the indebtedness of the Non-
Profit Corporation is paid in accordance with Section 7, the
Non-Profit Corporation, if requested in writing to so do,
shall continue to operate any property located outside the
city limits of the City of North Richland Hills and the other
cities transacting business with the Non-Profit Corporation.
Such request may be made by the City of North Richland Hi lls
or any other such city for which such property is bein~ operated.!!
2. That all other provisions of such ordinance be
and remain in full force and effect.
3. This ordinance shall become effective upon its
acceptance by the Tarrant County Water Supply Corporation.

WHEREAS, on the 26th day of October, 1959, the Ci ty

NOW COMES the Tarrant County Water Supply Corporation,
a non-profit corporation, and accepts all the terms and condi-
tions of the above ordinance ând agrees to abide by and be
bound by all the terms and conditions of said ordinance.
