J0 (\ '/\ v \ of the City Counoil, there came on for consideration the Petition of ~/I7;;~' .«~ 1¿ ~$- ~v-' and /'7 others to annex certain lands in said petition described. said petition and affidavit thereto was received, filed and fully oonsidered by the Council. SECT ION II. FINDINGS The petition for anne~ion and affidavit thereto attaohed having made it appear to the Council, and the members thereof, in accordance with the requirements of Artiole 974 of the Texas Statutes, that the territory described adjoins the town of North Riohl8Qd Hills; that it is not more than one-half (1/2) mile in width and uninoorporated; that the petition is signed by a majority of the residents of said lands and territory qualified to vote for members of the State Legislature, and that s aid territory is neoessary and required for residential development and for city purposes and is to be used for city purposes, and is described as followsl BEGINNING at a: point on the East boundary of Randol Mill Precinct Line Road (County Road 3035). a distanoe of il/2mile north of the north line of the L. C. Walker Survey, Abst. 1652; THENCE north 1/2 mile with the east boundary of said Randol Mill Precinot Line Road to the north boundary ot County Road No. 3036; THENCE west with the north line of County Line Road 3036 and with said line extended along the south line of J. B. Eden Survey, Abst. 499, and continuing along the South line of the WIn. Cox Survey. Abat. 321, passing Ferm to Market Highway 1938 and passing Keller-Bmithfield Road No. 3076, and continuing beyond said Road 3076 a distanoe of 1240 feet, more or less, to the intersection with the city limits line of North Richland Hilla~ THENCE returning to the point of beginning along the oity limits line of North Rioh- land Hills as follows: South to the north line of County Road 3066; THENCE west with said North line of County Road 3066, 160 feet, more or less, to the intersection with the extension of the west line of the Hewett Estates Subdivision;: THENCE south along the east line ot said Hewett Estates Subdivision 920 feet, more or less; THENCE east 160 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of Lot 2, Blook 1, of said Subdivision; THENCE south to the north line of the Smithfield-Watauga Road No. 3036;: THENCE easterly with the north line of st,id Smithfield-Watauga Road 1340 feet, more or less to the east line of Kelle-r-Bmithfield Road No. 3004; THENCE south to the north line of the J. H. Barlough Survey, Sbst. 130;: THENCE east with the north line of the J. H. Barlough Survey, oontinuing east through the T. K. Martin Survey to the point of beginning. SECTION III ANNEXATION The lands end territory as described in the next preceding section hereof is hereby received as a part of and incorporated into said City of North Richland Hills, and the inhabitants thereof shall from and after the passage hereof be entitled to all the rights and privileges of other oitizens, and bound by the acts and ordinances made in :conformity thereto. SECTION IV SAVINGS CLAUSE Should any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance be held to be invalid by the c Qurts of this state for any reason, suoh holding shall not be construed so as to affect any other section, sentences, olauses end phrases hereof shall stand, notwith- standing any such invalidity, and the Council declares that it would, nevertheless, have adopted all other such parts and portions of this ..·<'(\,;'Cqt!rhumce. ~..,..
