RESOLUTION NO. 93-48
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore, in executive session, given approval for the
purchase of a two acre tract of land out of the L.C. Walker Survey, Abstract 1653, lying adjacent to the
57.18 acre tract, out of the D.C. Manning and L.C. Walker Surveys, which the City purchased for park
and recreational purposes and which is described in Deed recorded in Volume 10980, page 0328; and
WHEREAS, such sale and purchase of said 2 acre tract from Robert A. McCauley, II and Vicki
L. Thornton has been consummated; and
VVHEREAS, the total cost of said tract was $44,742.85, including closing costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH
RICHLANO HILLS, TEXAS, that:
1.
The purchase of that certain 2 acre tract of land described in Warranty Deed from
Robert A. McCauley, II and Vicki L. Thornton to the City of North Richland Hills, dated June 7, 1993
for the sum of $44,742.85 be, and is hereby, ratified and approved.
2.
The appropriation of the funds from account No. 09-92-22-6000 is ratified and approved.
3.
The act of the Director of Community Services of this City in executing the closing documents
dated June 7, 1993 to consummate this purchase is hereby ratified.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of November, 1993.
