OPENING OF THE Mr. Sanford advised the City had been C.A.

suggestions on raising money. The funds
would be split between Adventure World and
the Star Telegram Education Fund or the
Christmas Fund. Volunteers would be needed
to solicit for the various sponsorships. Mr.
Sanford advised the City would have a year to
do this. Mr. Sanford had a concern about
sending City employees out trying to sell
sponsorships. After discussion, consensus
was for Mr. Sanford to meet with the Star
T elearam and reoort back to the Council

ORDINANCE The Police Chief had problems with parts of it.
Also, it would be the homeowner's
responsibility to remove the graffitti. The City
needed to have a responsibility also as far as
expenses. Councilman Welch advised he had
a problem with holding the property owner
responsible. After further discussion, Mr.
Sanford was asked to check on other cities'
graffiti ordinances and bring back to Council.
ALLIES DAY- Mr. Davis briefed the Council on the MARTY
RICHARD DAVIS, Chamber's progress. He also advised the
PRESIDENT Council that the second Allies Day would be
NORTHEAST held Thursday, October 13th, beginning with
CHAMBER Breakfast at Luby's. Mr. Davis expressed
appreciation to the City for its support.
STARNES ROAD Mr. Dickens advised this item was placed on NAN

Bogart done first. Mr. Sanford advised he
would suggest the City hire a Right-of-Way firm
to obtain the right-of-way needed on the
various projects. Mr. Sanford will look at some
contracts and bring a suggestion back to the
Council on hiring of the firm. Mr. Welch
advised he would like to have in writing exactly
how the projects were going to be done,
especially Green Valley and Holiday Lane if
possible.
AWARD OF BID Mr. Dickens advised this was placed on the
FOR DAVIS agenda only to see if Council had any
BOULEVARD questions. There were no questions from the
UTILITY Council.

PZ 94-19 - PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER REVISIONS
TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1874 REGARDING THE
MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL REGULATIONS
ORDINANCE NO. 2015

Mayor Pro Tem Wood opened the Public Hearing and called for anyone wishing to
speak in favor of this request.
Ms. Byrd appeared before the Council.
Ms. Byrd asked if this revision would affect the apartments that were planning to be
built.
Mayor Pro Tem Wood advised any new construction would have to meet the
requirements of the ordinance.
Mayor Pro Tem Wood called for anyone wishing to speak in opposition.
No one appeared wishing to speak in opposition.
Mayor Pro Tem Wood closed the Public Hearing.
Councilman Sibbet moved, seconded by Councilwoman Johnson, to approve
Ordinance No. 2015 with the following stipulations: Delete 40% covered spaces in
Section D, #2 parking: Article 7, Section D, strike second sentence.
