MARTY REQUESTING Forward to CONGRESSIONAL appropriate parties. ASSISTANCE WITH FCC REGULATION OF CABLE TELEVISION RATES - RESOLUTION NO. 95-23 RESOLUTION Staff advised the State had asked COG for an MARTY CONCERNING amendment concerning the Loop 820 widening Follow up. RIGHT -OF-WAY project. The State had been asked to look at FOR LOOP 820 splitting the right-of-way 50/50 on both the WIDENING north and south sides instead of taking all of it PROJECT - from the south side. It Follow up. looked to be a dangerous situation. Mr. McEntire advised the City had an ordinance on dilapidated buildings but notice would have to be given first. Mayor Brown asked if that ordinance would pertain to the dilapidated water tower located at Richland Plaza. Mr. McEntire advised he would check into it. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING APRIL 10, 1995 APPROVED Councilwoman Johnson moved, seconded by Councilman Oujesky, to approve the minutes of the April 10, 1995 meeting. April 24, 1995 Page 2 Motion carried 7-0. 5. PRESENTATIONS BY BOARDS & COMMISSIONS Mr. John Petty, Tecnol, presented the City with $15,000 toward the grand opening of NRH20. 6. REMOVAL OF ITEM(S) FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA Councilman Oujesky removed Items No. 12 and 13 and Councilman Welch removed Item No. 8 from the Consent Agenda. 7. CONSENT AGENDA ITEM(S) INDICATED BY ASTERISK (9, 10, & 11) APPROVED 8. GN 95-57 RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONGRESSIONAL ASSISTANCE WITH FCC REGULATION OF CABLE TELEVISION RATES - RESOLUTION NO. 95-23 APPROVED Councilman Oujesky explained the resolution was asking Congress for help pertaining to FCC rules. Councilwoman Spurlock moved, seconded by Councilwoman Johnson, to approve Resolution No. 95-23. Motion carried 7-0. "'9. PW 95-20 AWARD OF BID FOR INDUSTRIAL PARK BLVD. @ BROWNING DRIVE PAVING, DRAINAGE AND SIGNALIZATION IMPROVEMENTS REJECTED Councilman Welch moved, seconded by Councilwoman Johnson, to reject all bids. Motion carried 7-0. 13. PW 95-21 APPROVE CITY-DEVELOPER AGREEM ENT CONCERNING HIGHTOWER DRIVE PAVING PARTICIPATION, EDEN ADDITION, THIRD FILING APPROVED Mayor Pro Tem Wood abstained from discussion and vote because of conflict of interest. Councilman Oujesky moved, seconded by Councilman Sibbet, to approve PW 95-21. Motion carried 6-0; Mayor Pro Tem Wood abstaining. 14. CITIZENS PRESENTATION None. Mayor Brown adjourned the meeting.
